OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This ordinance amends the Village Code by decreasing the number of Class “F-1”
liquor licenses by one (1) issued to SHO Restaurant, Inc. d/b/a Sakura Restaurant,
105 South Main Street.

This ordinance amends the Village Code by decreasing the number of Class “F-5”
liquor licenses by one (1) issued to Culinary Freedom d/b/a Bristol Court Banquets,
828 East Rand Road.

This ordinance increases the number of Class “F-2” liquor licenses by one (1) for

1 reading of AN ORDINANCE (Exhibit D)
TO AMEND THE SPECIAL USE FOR LARGE SCALE
DEVELOPMENT SIGNS GRANTED IN ORDINANCE NO. 5705 AND AMENDED IN
ORDINANCE NO. 5874 AND ORDINANCE NO. 5821 AND GRANTS VARIATIONS
FOR THE RANDHURST VILLAGE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT LOCATED AT
999 NORTH ELMHURST ROAD, MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS.
This ordinance amends the Special Use for Large Scale Development Signs for
property located at 999 North Elmhurst Road to allow for replacement of one (1) free
standing sign, and to add one (1) new wall sign and one (1) new freestanding sign
and variations for an electronic message center. The Planning and Zoning Commission
recommended approval of the amendment and variations by a vote of 4-2.

This Resolution authorizes adoption of the Village of Mount Prospect Strategic Plan
for 2020.

A RESOLUTION FOR MAINTENANCE OF STREETS AND HIGHWAYS BY MUNICIPALITY (Exhibit F)
UNDER THE ILLINOIS HIGHWAY CODE (BLR14230)
This resolution increases the appropriation of money ($32,586.50) from the Motor
Fuel Tax Fund (MFT) for the maintenance of streets and highways from January 1,
2013-December 31, 2013. This increase reflects actual expenditures during the period.

XIIVILLAGE MANAGER’S REPORT
A. Motion to accept State of Illinois bid for the purchase of one (1) new tandem axle truck,
cab and chassis In an amount not to exceed $79,950.

B. Motion to accept proposal for 2014 Material Testing Contract in an amount not to
Exceed $47,000.

C.Request motion to waive bid process and accept proposal based on General Services
Administration (GSA) joint purchasing pricing for the purchase of one (1) new brush
chipper in an amount not to exceed $43,097.59.
