(ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES) OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance increases the number of Class "S" liquor licenses
(Restaurant with Lounge) for Hacienda Restaurant located at the
southeast corner of the Randhurst Shopping Center (Elmhurst &
Rand Roads), (Exhibit A)

A. ZBA 2-A-96, Text Amendment
2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14
(ZONING) OFTHE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
This Ordinance amends the driveway width regulations to permit
driveways serving three-car garages to exceed the maximum
allowable driveway width within 15 feet (15') of a garage. The Zoning
Board of Appeals recommended granting this amendment by a vote
of 5-0. (Exhibit B)
B. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE V ENTITLED
"METERS AND RATES" OF CHAPTER 22 OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance increases the fees for water and sewer services. Exhibit C)
C. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE
OF $3,150,000 GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS
Inasmuch as the bids for the bond issue will be opened on Tuesday,
March 5th, this Ordinance with the actual dollar amounts will be
distributed at the meeting. Exhibit D)
D. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE XVIII
ENTITLED "RESIDENTIAL LANDLORD AND TENANT
REGULATIONS" OF CHAPTER 23 OFTHE VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance increases the annual license fee for multi-family
rental structures from $7.00 to $14.00 and provides for that
license period to begin in June of each year. Exhibit E)
E. Increase the cost of a refuse/yard waste sticker from $1.25 to
$1.50 each..
IX. NEW BUSINESS
A. ZBA 3-CU-96, U.S. Robotics, 1800 West Central Road
At the request of the Petitioner this request for a Conditional
Use in the nature of a Planned Unit Development is deferred to
the March 20th (Wednesday) meeting of the Village Board.
B. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE
CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT RELATIVE TO FLOOD PLAIN
This Ordinance amends the Flood Plain Ordinance to bring it in
compliance with the requirements of the State, Exhibit F)
C. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSAL
OF .REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE VILLAGE OF
MOUNT PROSPECT
This Ordinance authorizes transferring title of an 80' x 125' Parcel
located adjacent to the Forest View Elementary School property
back to the Trustees of Schools. The parcel was originally set aside
for a water detention site, however; it has since been determined
that this parcel will not be used by the Village. (Exhibit G)
E. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4681
"ADOPTING THE OFFICIAL COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT" TO INCLUDE THE CENTRAL
ROAD CORRIDOR PLAN (Exhibit H)
F, 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE MOUNT PROSPECT
TELECOMMUNICATIONS CODE AS CHAPTER 6 OF THE VILLAGE
