MAYOR'S REPORT A. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13 (ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES) OF THE VILLAGE CODE This Ordinance increases the number of Class "S" liquor licenses (Restaurant with Lounge) for Hacienda Restaurant located at the Randhurst Shopping Center [Elmhurst & Rand Roads). (Exhibit A) B. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13 (ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES) OF THE VILLAGE CODE This Ordinance deletes the Class "S" liquor license issued to - Emerson Street Cabaret and Grill, which has closed. (Exhibit B) C. Appointments VII. COMMUNICATIONS AND PETITIONS - CITIZENS TO BE HEARD III. OLD BUSINESS A. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSAL OF REAL PROPERTY OVVNED BY THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT ' · This Ordinance authorizes transferring title of an 80' x 125' parcel .~.: ~ located adjacent to the Forest View Elementary School property back to the Trustees of Schools. The parcel was originally designated for a water retention site, however, it has since been determined that this parcel will not be used by the Village. (Exhibit C) B. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4681 "ADOPTING THE OFFICIAL COMPREHENSIVE PLAN " FOR THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT" TO INCLUDE THE ' ~ CENTRAL ROAD CORRIDOR PLAN (Exhibit D) C. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE MOUNT PROSPECT TELECOMMUNICATIONS CODE AS ' . CHAPTER 6 OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT (Exhibit E) NEW BUSINESS - · A. ZBA 3-CU-96, U.S. Robotics, 1800 West Central Road The Petitioner is requesting a Conditiona. I Use in the nature - of a Planned Unit Development. The Zoning Board of Appeals - recommended granting this request by a vote of 7-0. B. Post Office Plat of Subdivision , .~,.~ 1. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING ~ ~v~ , MODIFICATIONS FROM THE DEVELOPMENT CODE "~ ~" ' . ~ ~ This Ordinance grants an exception from the Development ~- ~,. ~ Code to permit the existing Public right-of-way widths, which~)~\ · ~ are less than required. The Plan Commission recommended granting these exceptions. (Exhibit F) 2. Plat of Consolidation This plat consolidates the Post Office property into one '> lot of record. The Plan Commission recommended approval of this Subdivision. C. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT ~. AND THE NORTHWEST SUBURBAN SPECIAL EDUCATION ~ ORGANIZATION (NSSEO) ~. This Agreement authorizes the Village to assign a Student Resource ~ Officer (SRO) tothe Behavior Education Center (BEC) located at 101 South Busse Road,~ with the total cost of the SRO to be paid by NSSEO. (Exhibit G) D. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25 OF THE VILLAGE CODE ~. This Ordinance establishes a 'severability' clause for the Village Code. (Exhibit H) E. a RESOLUTION IN LIEU OF a SURETY BOND IN ORDER TO PERFORM SPECIFIED CONSTRUCTION WORK WITHIN STATE ~ OF ILLINOIS RIGHTS-OF-WAY · This Resolution is required by the State and enables the Village to ~ ' perform any and all work within State rights-of-way without having to obtain a permit or post a bond for each project.
