A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A GRANT OF
EASEMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN J.S.L. PROPERTIES AND
THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
WHEREAS, J.S.L. Properties (hereinafter referred to as
"Grantors") are the owners of property generally located in the
undedicated right-of-way on the north side of Seminole (Willow
Road) at Andoa (hereinafter referred to as "Subject Property),
and legally described as follows:
The West 10.0 feet of the South 40 feet of the West 40
feet of that part of the East 40 acres of the West half of
the Northwest Quarter of Section 24, Township 42 North,
Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, lying
South of the North line of the South half of the Northwest
Quarter, in Cook County, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, the Grantors are desirous of entering into an Easement
Agreement with the Village of Mount Prospect (hereinafter
referred to as Grantee) for the Subject Property for the purpose
of controlling storm sewer flow; and
WHEREAS, Grantors do hereby grant an easement to Grantee for the
purpose of the installation, operation, maintenance, relocation,
renewal or removal of underground sewer and its appurtenances.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign and the
Clerk directed to attest her signature on the Grant of Easement
between J.S.L. Properties and the Village of Mount Prospect, a
copy of which is attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof as
Exhibit "A".
SECTION TWO: That a certified copy of this Resolution and Grant
of Easement shall be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
Deeds or registered with the Registrar of Titles, whichever is
applicable.
SECTION THREE: That this Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval in the manner
provided by law.

STORK SEWER EASEMENT
THIS INDENTURE made this -4.1-day of JUNE
19~, between J.S.L. PROPERTIES, INC.
of the CITY of PROSPECT HTS. , County of
COOK , State of ILLINOIS ,hereinafter
referred to as the Grantor, and the VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPCT.
Cook County, Illins, .an Illinois municipal corporation, its
successors and assigns, hereinafter referred to as the
Grantee:
WITNESSETH:
That the Grantor, in consideration of the sum of ONE
DOLLAR ($1.00) and other good and valuable considerations in
hand paid by the Grantee, the receipt and sufficiency whereof
is hereby acknowledged, does hereby grant unto the Grantee a
perpetual easement for the uses and purposes hereinafter set
forth, in, along, through, under and/or upon the £ollowing
described strip of land in the Village of Mount Prospect, in
.Cook County, Illinois, to-wit:
The West 10.0 feet of the South 40 feet of the
West 40 feet of that part of the East 40 acres of the
West half of theNorthwest Quarter of Section 24,
Township 42 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal
Meridian, lying South of the North line of the South
half of the Northwest Quarter, in Cook County, Illinois.

The easement hereby granted is for the following uses,
purposes and rights:
1. To construct, lay, operate, renew, enlarge, reduce,
replace, relocate, maintain, repari, clean, operate and/or
remove a storm sewer drain or drains and such sewer
conduits, manholes, and other associated facilities.
and installations of such size, materials, appurtenances,
equipment and/or number as the Grantee may deem necessary or
desirable for its needs,
along,
through and under the
aforesaisd strip of land.
2. .
Included in this easement is the right in the Grantee,
its agents, employees and contractors (hereby granted), of
going on the said strip of land for the purpose of making
such excavations and doing such other work as may be necessary
to construct. lay, operate.
repair, clean. maintain. enlarge,
reduce.
relocate. remove. renew and/or replace any such storm
sewer drain, conduit. facility or installation or of any of
same,
or of any part of same;
it being expressly understood.
however,
that the Grantee,
its agents. employees and contractors.
in doing any such work.
shall take such precautions as may
reasonably be necessary to properly protect the Grantor, Grantors
or his. her.
its or their heirs. successors or assigns from
damages and liability in connection therewith,
that no un-
reasonable delay shall be occasioned in connection with the
making of any such excavation or otherwise disturbing the con-
dition of the surface of said premises.

The Grantor or Grantors, and such Grantor or Grantors,
heirs, successors and assigns, convenant and agree to and with
the Grantee, its successors and assigns, that no permanent
building structure. tree or obstruction shall be installed
or placed on said strip of land that will cause any practical
hardship to the Grantee, its successors, or assigns in making
use of the easements herein granted. it being expressly un-
derstood.and agreed, however, that said strip of land may be
improved by a hard surfacing or by grass. flowers. shrubs or
landscaping or other purposes that will not cause any material
interference with the uses and rights herein granted, including
the use of same for ingress and egress or parking purposes,
excepting during those reasonable periods requiredby Grantee.

any of the rights or functions herein granted or authorized:
