Minutes of October 5, 2013

Roll Call Sandy DiCaro, Janice Farley, Jill Friedrichs, Christina Greco, Kathy Janonis, Mike

Absent Linda Hoefert, Fred Steinmiller and Tarina Wimmer
Call to Order 9:05 a.m.
Secretary's Report Deferred until November meeting.
Citizens to Be Heard No citizens in attendance.
Financial Report Motion to accept report as presented made by Sandy DiCaro, seconded by
Kathy Janonis. Motion approved unanimously.
Christkindle Market Event will take place inside. Applications have been mailed and four (4)
applications have been received. Preference will be given to last year participants. Teen
helpers will be needed day of event from 3:00 until 7:00 with a break in between. Other
discussion was held.
New Year's Eve Eve $4,000. is needed from sponsors, there will be three (3) levels of giving.
Pro Mix DJ has given a quote of $1,300. which will include dancers to help get the party rockin'.
Kathy Janonis has been quoted $400. for a photo booth from Pro Mix, no decision has been
made on this item, looking for sponsorship. First sale of these tickets will be at Christkindle
Market cost is $12. per person with maximum of 500 attendees. Event will be from 11:30 until
2:00.
House Decorating Handouts will be available at the next SEC meeting. Preliminary judging will
take place from December 1 -5, with award presentations taking place at the December 17
Celestial Celebration $4,500. is needed in the form of sponsorship. Still need to book the
young singer from last year as well as the cigar roller. Must address coat check, entrance
location and change location of "red carpet" photo opportunities. Nomination letters have
gone out and to date four (4) nominations have been received to date. Shining Stars Celestial
Celebration has a new logo. Other discussion was held.
