PROCLAMATION: CHAMBER OF COMMERCE WEEK, September 22 - 27, 1997 B. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13 (ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES) OF THE VILLAGE CODE This Ordinance deletes the requirement for having a separate cash register for liquor sales at grocery stores but retains the requirement that the cashier must be at least 19 years of age in order to process the sale. (Exhibit A) C. ZBA 11-97, Mid-City National Bank, 15 East Prospect Avenue 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 15 E. PROSPECT AVE. COMMONLY KNOWN AS MID-CITY BANK This Ordinance grants a Conditional Use for a drive-thru facility. (Exhibit B) B. ZBA 18-97, 2225 West Lincoln Street 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE VILLAGE This Ordinance rezones the subject property from R-X to R-1 (Single Family Residential). The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting this request by a vote of 5-0. (Exhibit C) C. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18 (TRAFFIC CODE) This Ordinance establishes parking regulations around St. Mark Lutheran Church, 200 S. Wille Street, and Fairview School. (Exhibit D) D. Final staff report relative to application from Metro Checker Taxi Cab Company for a business license in the Village. IX. NEW BUSINESS A. ZBA 22-97, 50 South Main Street, Mount Prospect National Bank The Petitioner is requesting a Conditional Use for drive-thru lanes for the proposed banking institution to be known as the Mount Prospect National Bank as well as setback variations for parking. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting this request by a vote of 6-0. B. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 8.115 OF CHAPTER 8 (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) OF THE VILLAGE CODE This Ordinance amends the regulations governing conflict of interest to make local regulations consistent with new State law.
