1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2895
GRANTING A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT FOR
PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS "THE TANK FARMS"
This Ordinance amends the Planned Unit Development
governing the Tank Farms to permit a storage tank and fire
suppression pump house for Uno-Ven Tank Farm. The
Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting requests by a
vote of 6-0, (Exhibit A)
IX. NEW BUSINESS
A. ZBA 3-97, Mt. Prospect Park District, Trade Service Property
At the request of the Petitioner, this case has been deferred until
the regular meeting of June 17th.
B. ZBA 13-97, Text Amendment
Village administration is recommending text amendments to
definitions and regulations governing fences. The Zoning
Board of Appeals recommended granting these amendments
by a vote of 6-0.
C, 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE XIII ENTITLED
"PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE" OF CHAPTER 21 AND
ARTICLE XVIII ENTITLED "RESIDENTIAL LANDLORD AND TENANT
REGULATIONS" OF CHAPTER 23 OF THE VILLAGE CODE (Exhibit B)
D. Safety Commission recommendations:
1. Request of resident for 2-way Yield signs at Thayer
on Stratt..on. The Safety Commission recommended
approving this request by a vote of 6-0.
2. Request of resident to remove "No Parking Any Time"
restrictions on the south side of Henry between
Owen and William Streets. The Safety Commission
recommended denying this request by a vote of 7-0.
3. Request of resident to reduce the speed limit on Sunset
between William and Edward and on Louis between
Sunset and Golf from 25 MPH to 20 MPH. The Safety
Commission recommended denying this request by a
vote of 7-0.
E. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18
(TRAFFIC CODE)
This Ordinance establishes a speed limit of 15 MPH and prohibits
parking on Melas Lane, the access road within Melas Park. (Exhibit C)
