AN ORDINANCE DECLARING REBATES OF SPECIFIED ASS~MENTS
WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect heretofore adopted specified Ordinances
providing for the construction of public improvements under special assessements
of certain land located within the corporate limits of the Village of Mount Prospect;
WHEREAS, pursuant to such Ordinances, the Village of ~ount Prospect filed
special assessment petitions in the County Court of Cook County, in cause
Nos. 52, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 65, 66; and
WHEREAS, all requisite statutory steps as required by law have been taken in
said proceeding including the entries of Judgments of Confirmation, construction
of the improvements, and the issuance of bonds and vouchers; and
WHEREAS, there has been a final settlement with the contractors and there has beer
full payment of all vouchers and bonds in connection with such special
assessments; and
WHEREAS, there is a surplus in said Special Assessment accounts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEF
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTy, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That a rebate be and the same is hereby declared for each of the
following Special Assessment accounts in the following amounts, which respective
rebates shall be paid first to the public benefit fund for the amounts paid from such
fund and the balance, if any, paid pro rata to the current owners of each lot, block
tract, or parcel of land assessed in the following special assessment areas:

SECTION TWO: That prior to making each such rebate there shall first be
deduote~l from said surplus amount for the benefit of the Village of Mount Pros
for its cost and expense for declaring and making said rebate, 5% of the
hereby declared rebaied.
SECTION THREE: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from anti
after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law.
