Busse called the meeting to order at 5:45 p.m. Roll Call: George Busse, Chairman James Powers, Commissioner Michaele Skowron, Commissioner Mark Busse, Commissioner Also Present: Chris Truty, Deputy Fire Chief Dane Phenegar, Battalion Chief Phone 847/870 -5858 The purpose of the meeting was to conduct Fire Department new -hire oral interviews. Chairman G. Busse asked for a motion to go into Closed Session - Personnel 5 ILCS 120/2 (c)(1). A Motion was made by Commissioner Powers and Seconded by Commissioner Skowron to go into Closed Session for the purpose of oral interviews at 5:47 p.m. Roll Call: Ayes: G. Busse, Powers, Skowron, and M. Busse Nays: None Motion Carried The Board reconvened with everyone present at 9:55 p.m. Discussion took place regarding the status of the single individual who failed to appear for his scheduled oral interview. A motion was made by Commissioner Powers and seconded by Commissioner Skowron to remove the six candidates who failed the oral interview process from the eligibility list and the nine who passed the oral interview process to remain on the eligibility list. Roll Call: Ayes: G. Busse, Powers, Skowron and M. Busse Nays: None Motion Carried A motion was made by Commissioner Skowron and seconded by Commissioner Powers to adjourn at 10:02 p.m. Roll Call!.
