AN ORDINANCE GRANTING SPECIFIED VARIATIONS
FOR PROPERTY AT 208 SOUTH ALBERT STREET
WHEREAS, Ralph Stadler, Jr., and Shirley Stadler (who shall be
referred to as "Petitioner") are the owners of a parcel of pro,
perty located at 208 South Albert Street in the Village of
Mount Prospect, County of Cook, State of Illinois (hereinafter
referred to as the "Subject Property"); and
WHEREAS, the Subject Property is legally described as follows:
Lot 19 (except the South 15.0 Feet thereof) and
Lot 20 in Block 16 in the Subdivision o~ Blocks
15, 16, 24, and 25 in Busse's Eastern Addition
to Mt. Prospect, in the East 1/2 of Section 12,
Township 41 North, Range 11, East of.the Third
Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois;
and
WHEREAS, the subject Property is located in the R-1 Single
Family Residence District under the provisions of the Zoning
Ordinance of the Village of Mount Prospect (hereinafter re-
ferred to as the "Zoning Ordinance"); and
WPIEREAS, Petitioner has heretofore filed an application seeking
the following variation from the provisions of the Zoning
Ordinance:
A 3.64 foot variation from Secton 14.1102.B of
Article XI of the Zoning Ordinance to permit a
side yard of 4.86 feet on the north side of the
Subject Property instead of the required 8.50
feet in order to build a proposed addition to
the residence located on the Subject Property,
as shown on Exhibit A attached hereto and made
part hereof.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the Petitioner.'s request
for the aforesaid variations, which request is known as ZBA-
before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount
Prospect on July 24, 1980, pursuant to proper public notice
published in the Mount Prospect Herald on July 8, 1980; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended to the
Building Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect that Petitioner's request for the aforesaid
variation, ZBA-34-V-80, be granted; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees have considered
the Petitioner's request and reviewed the recommendation of the
Village of Mount Prospect Zoning Board of Appeals in ZBA-34-V-8(
and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect have determined that with respect to the Peti-
oner's requested variation, that Petitioner has satisfied the
~tandards for the grant of variations set forth in Section
.4.605 of Article VI of the Zoning Ordinance and find that it
~ould be in the best interest of the Village of Mount Prospect
to grant Petitioner the requested variation.
~OW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
tRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS

SECTION ONE: The recitals set forth hereinabove are incort
herein as findings of fact by the President and Board of
of the Village of Mount Prospect.
SECTION TWO: The President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Mount Prospect hereby grant the following variation:
A 3.64 foot variation from Section 14.t102.B of
Article XI of the Zoning Ordinance to permit a
north side yard of 4.86 feet, instead of the
required 8.50 feet, in order to build a proposed
addition to the residence as shown on Exhibit A
attached hereto and made part hereof;
for a parcel of real estate legally described as follows:
Lot 19 (except the South 15.0 Feet thereof) and
Lot 20 in Block 16 in the Subdivision of Blocks
15, 16, 24, and 25 in Busse's Eastern Addition
to Mt. Prospect, in the East 1/2 of Section 12,
Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION THREE: Except for the variation granted herein, all
other applicable Village of Mount Prospect Ordinances shall
remain in full force and effect as to the Subject Property.
SECTION FOUR: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval, and publication in the
manner provided by law.
