HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 3063 10/21/1980 RDINANCE NO. 3063 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OP CERTAIN PERSONAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT WHEREAS, in the Opinion of at least three'fourths of the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect, it is no longer necessary or useful or for the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect, to retain ownership of the personal propertyhereinafterdescribed; and WHEREAS, it has been determined by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village Or'Mount ProsPect to Sell said personal property; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT OBTAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: That, pursuant to Section 11-76-4 of the Illinois Municipal Code, Ill. Rev. Stat., C24, Section 11-76-4, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount ProsPect find that the following described property: Three 40-HP Enpo-Cornell Submersible Pumps -- never used -- no warranty. Pump #1 Model #4DNT-SS-40-4 HP - 40 RPM - 1750 TDH - Ft. 82 Serial #1222-11¼ Volts- 460 PhaSe - 3 Cycle - 60 GPM - 1000 Pum? #2 Model #4DNT-SS-40-4 HP - 40 RPM - 1750 TDH - Ft. 82 Serial #1275-11½ Volts- 460 PhaSe - 3 Cycle - 60 GPM - 1000 Pump #3 Model #4DNT-SS-40-4 H~ - 4O RPM - 1750' TDH - Pt. 82 Serial #1393-11¼ Volts- 460 Phase - 3 Cycle ' 60 GPM - 1000 ControlPanel: Three (3)' 40 Hp., 460 V starters with 3 Overload protection (note. maximum capacity 60 hp., 460V) One (1) disconnect with 2 fused circuitsforpumps 1 & 2 relays for mercury switch pump down control) -1- ne (1) transfer switch to transfer pump 3 from public service togenerator standby. (Pump 3 to be controlled by 2 mercury switches independent of pumps 1 & 2) One (1) disconnect withfuses for pump 3 Three (3)running lights Three(3) Hand/Off/Auto Selector switches Three (3)seal leak detector lights with seal leak sensing relays. Ail controls are wired to terminal blocks for connecting to remote devicesl The above mounted in an enclosure approx. 59" high, 39" wide, and 10" deep. The entire control cabinet mounted in a rain- tight gasketed enclosure with drip shield approx. 78" high, 58" wide, 16" deeP with double door and 3 Point locking handle. now owned by the Village of Mount Prospect, is no longer necessary or useful to the Village of Mount Prospect and the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect would be Served by sale of same. SECTION TWO: That, pursuant to said Section 11-76'4, the Village Manager is hereby authorized and directed to Sell ortrade the aforementioned personal property now owned by the Village of Mount Prospect. SECTION THREE: That, upon'payment of the full price, the Village Manager is hereby authorized and directed to convey and transfer title to the aforesaid personal property, to the successful buyer. Prospective purchasers or interested persons may review the personal property forsale at thePublic Works Building, 11 South Pine Street, Mount Prospect.
