A_N ORDINANCE TO A~END CHAPTER 2 ENTITLED "BOARD OF
TRUSTEES" OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINgIS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF MO~T PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: Chapter 2 entitled "Board of Trustees" is
hereby amended to read as follows:

Section 2.103 of Article I, entitled "Meetings of
the Board" shall be amended to add %hereto new sub-
sections C and D to read:

Committee Meetings. The committee meetings of
the Village Board of Trustees, sitting as a
Committee on the Whole shall be held on the
second and fourth Tuesday of each month at the
hour of seven thirty o'clock (7:30) P.M.;
provided, that, if the committee meeting falls
on a legal holiday, the meeting shall take place
on the next secular day at the same hour.
Committee meetings shall be included in the
annual schedule of meetings of the Board of
Trustees prepared and posted pursuant to the
Open Meetings Act and no further notice of
such committee meetings shall be required.[
Meeting Place. Ail meetings of the Village
Board of Trustees shall be held in the Board
Room of the Public Safety Building, 112 East
Northwest Highway, Mount Prospect, Illinois,
unless, pursuant to due notice, another
meeting place is selected."
B. Section 2.202 of Article ~I entitled "Order of
Business; Regular Meetings Only" shall be amended
by amending subsection C to read:
"C. The said written agenda shall set forth
the order of business substantially as follows:
1. Call to Order
2. Invocation
3. Roll Call
4. Approval of Minutes of.preceding regular
meetings and special meetings, if any
5. Approval of Bills
6. Co~Lmun~cations and Petitions - Citizens
to be heard
7. Village President's Report (may include
proclamations)
8. Old Business
9. New Business
10. Village Manager's Report
11. Other Business (including items for
information onlyl
12. Adjournment"
C. Section 2.204 of Article II entitled "Committees;
Reports" shall be amended to read:
ec. 2.204. Committees.
A.
Committee of the 9~ole - Working sessions
and the discussion of municipal business
shall be undertaken by the Village Board
of Trustees sitting as a Committee of the
Whole. Minutes shall be taken at all
committee meetings and the same shall be
submitted to the President and Board of
Trustees prior to the next regular meeting
of said Board.
Special and Ad Hoc Committees - Special and
Ad Hoc Committees may be appointed by the
Village President from time to time to fulfill
such purpose as the President shall designate
and such committees may be comprised of members
of the Village Board of Trustees or of citizens
of the Community."
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect upon its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet
form in accordance with law.
