AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP WITH
RESPECT TO ZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE B-2 BUSINESS
OFFICE DISTRICT IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, Winona School of Professional Photography,
the Petitioner, herein, has made application to rezone
certain property hereinafter described from the R-X
Single - Family Residence District to the B-2 Business
Office District as provided in Article VIII of Chapter
14 of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, Illinois; and
· WHEREAS, the Subject Property is commonly known as
the Bond School at 350 North Wolf Road, in the Village of
Mount Prospect, Illinois and is legally described as
follows:
That part of the North East Quarter (1/4)
of Section 35, Township 42 North, Range
tl, East of the Third Principal Meridian,
described as follows: Beginning at a point
on the South line of said North East Quarter
(1/4) which is a distance of 250 feet West
of the South East corner of said North East
Quarter (1/4); thence West along the South
line of said North East Quarter (1/4) a
distance of 280 feet; thence North along a
line drawn parallel with the East line of
said North East Quarter (1/4) a distance
of 820 feet; thence East along a line drawn
parallel with the South line of said North
East Quarter (1/4) a distance of 480 feet
to the West line of Wolf Road; thence South
along the West line of Wolf Road, said line
being 50 feet West of and parallel with the
East line of said North East Quarter (1/4)
a distance of 612 feet; thence West along a
line drawn parallel with the South line of
said North East Quarter (1/4) a distance of
200 feet; thence South along a line drawn
parallel with the East line of said North
East Quarter (1/4) a distance of 208 feet
to the place of beginning: Acreage 8.08.
WHEREAS, said rezoning request is for the purpose
of using the existing building located on the Subject
Property as a private school for the instruction of
professional photography; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held on said rezoning
application (designated as Case No. ZBA-8-Z-83) before the
Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect
on the 24th date of March, 1983, pursuant to proper publica-
tion of due notice thereof in the Mount Prospect Herald
on the 7th day of March , 1983; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has forwarded
its findings and recommendation to the Board of Trustees
of the Village that the requested rezoning be approved;
and
WHEREAS, this Board has considered ~he findings and
recommendation of the Zoning Board of Appeals and does
hereby determine it to be in the best interests of the
Village to grant the requested rezoning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK
OUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: The recitals set forth hereinabOve are
incorporated herein as findings of fact by the President
and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect,
Illinois.
SECTION TWO: The official zoninq map pertaining to
Chapter 14 entitled "Zoning" of the village Code of Mount
Prospect, Illinois, as amended, is hereby further amended
by reclassifying from the R-X Single Family Residence
District to the B-2 Business Office District the following
described property:
That part of the North East Quarter (1/4) of
Section 35, To%.~ship 42 North, Range 11, East
of the Third Principal Meridian, described
as follows: Beginning at a point on the
South line of said North East Quarter (1/4)
which is a distance of 250 feet West of the
South East corner of said North East Quarter

280 feet; thence North along a line drawn

Quarter (1/4) a distance of 820 feet; thence
East along a line drawn parallel with the
South line of said North East Quarter (1/4)
a distance of 480 feet to the West line of
Wolf Road; thence South along the West line of
Wolf Road, said line being 50 feet West of and
parallel with the East line of said North East
Quarter (1/4) a distance of 612 feet; thence
West along a line drawn parallel with the South
line of said North East Quarter (1/4) a dis-
tance of 200 feet; thence South along a line
drawn parallel with the East line of said
North East Quarter (1/4) a distance of 208
feet to the place of beginning: Acreage 8.08.
SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publi-
cation in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
