IX. OLD BUSINESS A. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT PROHIBITING THE SOLICITATION AND ACCEPTANCE OF GIFTS AND ADOPTING THE STATE GIFT BAN ACT NEW BUSINESS A. ZBA 05-99, Larkdale Lane The petitioner is requesting a Conditional Use for the addition of an unenclosed front porch encroaching five-feet (5') into the front yard setback, to an existing single-family residence. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended approval by a vote of 5-0. ZBA 12-99,716 Prospect Manor The petitioner is requesting Variations to allow for a 768 square-foot garage, and a side yard setback of three feet (3'). The Zoning Code permits detached garages up to 600 square feet, and minimum side yard setbacks of five feet (5'). The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended approval of the Variations by a vote of 5-0. Co ZBA 13-99, 1530 S. Elmhurst Road The petitioner is requesting a Conditional Use for a Planned Unit Development amendment to the Big K-Mart shopping center to allow the construction of a 26,113 square-foot building addition for a Hobby Lobby Store. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended approval of this request, with specific conditions, by a vote of 5-0. ZBA 14-99,310 S. Helena Avenue The petitioner is requesting the rezoning of properties at 310 S. Helena Avenue and 2315 White Oak Street, from R-X (Single Family Residential) to R-1 (Single Family Residential). The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended approval of this request, with specific conditions, by a vote of 5-0. ZBA 15-99, 307 N. School Street The petitioner is requesting a Conditional Use to add an unenclosed front porch encroaching five-feet (5') into the front setback to an existing single-family residence. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended approval of this request by a vote of 5-0.
