AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIFIED VARIATION
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 903 WEST MILBURN AVENUE
IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, Ms. Arlene Ann Adydan, the owner of certain resi-
dence property hereinafter described, located at 903 West Milburn
~venue, in the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, has filed
~n application seeking a variation from certain provisions of
%rticle XI of Chapter 14 of the Village Code of MOunt Prospect,
Illinois, as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, the Subject Property is described as follows:
Lot Thirty-Seven (37) in Alfini's First Addition
to Mount Prospect, being a Subdivision of part of
the South 990.0 feet of the West 1/2 of the North-
east Quarter and part of the South 990.0 feet of
the East Half of the Northwest Quarter in Section
11, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian, according to the Plat thereof
registered in the Office of the Registrar of Titles,
Cook County, Illinois, on December 2, 1953 as Do-
cument Number 1496955.
WHEREAS, Petitioner seeks a specific variation from the
)rovisions of Section 14.1102.B.1 to permit the reduction of a
~equired 6 foot 6 inch interior side yard to 4 foot 6 inches for
:he purposes of allowing Petitioner to expand a one car garage to
~ two-car garage and a family room addition within said interior
~ide yard.
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held on Petitioner's request
~or the aforesaid variation (designated as Case No. ZBA-14-V-83)
~efore the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospec
~n the 26th day of May, 1983 pursuant to due and proper notice
hereof published in the Mount Prospect Herald on May 10, 1983;

WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has submitted its
indings and recommendation to the President and Board of Trustees
f the Village of Mount Prospect, that Petitioner's variation
equest be granted; and the President and Board of Trustees
f the Village have considered further the variation request
nd have determined that the same satisfies the standards set
orth in Section 14.605 of Article VI of Chapter 14 of the village
ode, and further find that it would be in the best interests of
he Village to grant the variation hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
F TRUST~ES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY,
5LINOIS.
SECTION ONE: The recitals set forth hereinabove are in-
Drporated herein as findings of fact by the President and Board
Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois.
SECTION TWO: The President and Board of Trustees of the Vill.
Mount Prospect do hereby grant to the Subject Property a variat
~rom Section 14.1102.B.1 of Article XI of Chapter 14 to allow the
~eduction of an interior side yard from 6 foOt 6 inches to 4 foot
inches to allow the expansion of a one-car garage to a two-car
[arage and family room addition within said interior side yard.
SECTION THREE: Except for the variation granted herein, all
)ther applicable Village of Mount Prospect Ordinances and Regula-
tions shall remain in full force and effect as to the Subject
?roperty.
SECTION FOUR: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effe
~rom and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet
~orm in the manner provided by law.
