RDINANCE NO. 3431
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FOR CERTAIN
PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 1922 BURR oAK DRIVE,
IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Beyer, have filed an application
or a variation with respect to certain residence property owned
y them and commonly known as 1922 Burr Oak Drive in the Village
f Mount Prospect, Illinois (the "Subject Property"); and
WHEREAS, the Subject Property is described as
ollows:
Lot 12 in Tree Farm Estate, being a subdivision of
part of the South half of the Northeast quarter of
Section 25, Township 42 North, Range 11, East of
the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County,
Illinois; and
WHEREAS, Petitioners seek a variation from the provisions
f Section 14.116.A of Article I, Chapter 14 of the Village
ode of Mount Prospect, Illinois, to provide an additional (sec-
nd) curb cut in order to allow the establishment of a circular
riveway on the subject Property, both of which curb cuts will
e located on Lama Lane; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the variation re-
uest (designated as Case No. ZBA-17-V-84) before the Zoning
oard of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect on the
th day of June, 1984, pursuant to due and proper notice thereof
ublished in the Mount Prospect Herald on the l~th day of May,
984; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has submitted its
indings and recommendation to the President and Board of
rustees of the Village of Mount Prospect to grant the subject
ariation request, and the President and Board of Trustees of
aid Village have given further consideration to the request and
ave determined that the same satisfies the standards set forth
n Section 14.605 of Article VI of Chapter 14 of the Village
ode, provided the open area adjoining said Driveway is land'
caped, including use of shrubs or low evergreen plantings,
nd further find that it would be in the best interest of the
illage to grant the requested variation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOI~
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The recitals set forth hereinabove are incor-
rated herein as findings of fact by the President and Board~of
custees of the Village of Mount Prospect.
SECTIO.N 2: The President and Board of Trustees of the
[llage of Mount Prospect hereby grant to the Subject Property
ne variation requested with respect to Section 14.116.A of
uticle I of'Chapter 14 of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois
D allow the installation of an additional (second) curb cut on
~ma Lane for the purpose of serving a circular driveway, provided
hat applicants shall landscape the adjacent and surrounding open
cea, including use of shrubs or low evergreen plantings, pursuant
D a landscape plan approved by the Community Development Depart-
~nt of the Village.

ECTION 3: Except for the variation granted herein all other
~able Village of Mount Prospect ordinances and regulations
remain in full force and effect as to the Subject Property.
;ECTION 4: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
and after its passage, approval~ and publication in pamphlet
in the manner pr6vided by law.
