Published in pamphlet form by authority of the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, the 21 day of November , 1984. RDINANCE NO. 3471 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS WITH RESPECT TO ZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ARC DISPOSAL COMPANY PROPERTY IN THE I21 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT ~EREAS, pursuant to an Annexation Agreement and the subsequent adoption of an Ordinance to annex certain property hereinafter described and designated as the "Subject Property"; said property was automatically zoned and classified in the R-X Single Family Residence District, as provided by Section 14.110.A.1 of Article I of Chapter 14 of the Village Code of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS, Arc Disposal Company beneficial owner of the Subject Property, has made application to rezone the same to the I-1 Light Industrial District; said property being located at 2101 South Busse Road in the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, commonly known as the Arc Disposal Company property, and legally described as follows: The Wes% 1134.83 feet, as measured on the North and South lines thereof, of the South 164.88 feet as measured on the East and West lines thereof, of the West Half (1/2) of the Northwest Quarter (1/4) of Section 23, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, excepting therefrom all that part thereof heretofore used, taken or dedicated for public roads and streets, in Cook County, Illinois; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on said rezoning application (designated as case No. ZBA 37-Z-84) before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect on the 23rd day of August, 1984, pursuant to proper publication of due notice thereof in the Mount Prospect Herald on the 6th day of Auqust , 1984; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has forwarded its finding and recommendation to the Board of Trustees of the Village that the requested rezoning be approved, and the President and Board of Trustees have considered said applica- tion and the finding and recommendation of the Zoning Board of Appeals pertaining thereto, and have determined that the best interest of the Village of Mount Prospect would be obtained by the adoption of the necessary Ordinance to accomplish said rezoning. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION 1: The recitals set forth hereinabove are incorporated herein as findings of fact by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois. SECTION 2: The zoning map of the Zoning Ordinance (Chapter 14 entitled "Zoning" of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, Illinois as amended) is hereby further amended by reclassifying from the R-X Single Family Residence District to the I-1 Light Industrial District, the property hereinabove described. ~....~ ': ~-~-Z- 84 ~, ~ ~of 2 SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
