AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
LAND LYING IN SECTION 35, TOWNSHIP 42, RANGE 11
EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN IN COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS (OPUS DESIGNERS, BUILDERS, DEVELOPERS, INC.)
WHEREAS, a written petition under oath signed by all the owners of
record of the land hereinafter described, there being no electors
residing thereon, has been filed with the Village Clerk of the
Village of Mount Prospect requesting that said land be annexed to
the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, said land is not within the corporate limits of any
municipality, but is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect;
and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount ProspeCt, Illinois, find and believe it to be in the best
interest of said Village that the said land and territory be
annexed to the Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That all land and territory legally described as
follows, to wit:
That part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 35, Township
42 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian,
described as follows: Commencing at the Southeast corner
of said Northeast Quarter, thence North 89 degrees 39 min-
utes 56 seconds West along the South line of said Northeast
Quarter, 530.0 feet for a point of beginning; thence North
0 degrees 03 minutes 55 seconds West along a line drawn
parallel with the East line of said Northeast Quarter,
820.0 feet; thence South 89 degrees 39 minutes 56 seconds
East along a line drawn parallel with the South line of
said Northeast Quarter, 300.0 feet to a point 230 feet
West of the East line of said Northeast Quarter; thence
North 0 degrees 03 minutes 55 seconds West along a line
230 feet West of and parallel with the East line of said
Northeast Quarter, 773.82 feet; thence Southwesterly along
a curved line, convex to the Northwest and having a radius
of 652.05 feet, an arc distance of 297.94 feet, the chord
of said arc bearing South 70 degrees 50 minutes 25 seconds
West 295.36 feet; thence South 57 degrees 45 minutes 05
seconds West along a line tangent to the last described
curved line, 725.58 feet; thence Northwesterly along a
curved line, tangent to the last described line, convex
to the Southwest and having a radius of 30 feet, an arc
distance of 49.71 feet, the chord of said arc bearing North
74 degrees 46 minutes 46 seconds West, 44.22 feet; thence
Northwesterly along a curved line, tangent to the last
described curved line, convex to the Southwest and having
a radius of 843.16 feet, an arc distance of 225.31 feet,
the chord of said arc bearing North 19 degrees 39 minutes
19 seconds West, 224.64 feet; thence North 12 degrees 00 '-
minutes 00 seconds ~.~est along a line tangent to the last
described curved line, 410.73 feet; thence Northwesterly
along a curved line, tangent to the last described line,
convex to the Northeast and having a radius of 540 feet,
an arc distance of 210.29 feet, the chord of said arc bear-
ing North 23 degrees 09 minutes 22 seconds West, 208.96
feet to the East line of Kensington Center Phase Four,
being a Subdivision in part of the North Half of said Sec-
tio~ 35, according to the plat thereof recorded January
20, 1984, as document ~26937282 and also filed as L.R.
~3349861; thence South 0 degrees 21 minutes 56 seconds
West along the East line of said Subdivision, 67.59 feet
to the Southeast corner of said Subdivision; thence South
63 degrees 47 minutes 00 seconds West along the Southeaster-
ly line of said subdivision 44.63 feet; thence Southeaster-
ly along a curved line, convex to the Northeast and having
radius of 460 feet, an arc distance of 129.75 feet, the
chord of said arc bearin~ South 20 degrees 04 minu~es 5~
seconds East, 129.32 feet; thence South 12 de~recs 00
utes 00 seconds East along a line tangent to the last de-
scribed curved line, 410.73 feet; thence Southeasterly
along a curved line, tangent to the last described line,

an arc distance of 281.67 feet, the chord of said arc bear-
ing South 20 degrees 44 minutes 31 seconds East, 280.57
feet; thence Westerly along a curved line, convex to the
Southeast and having a radius of 841.95 feet, an arc dis-
tance of 350.48 feet, the chord of said arc bearing South
75 degrees 38 minutes 53 seconds West, 347.96 feet; thence
South 87 degrees 34 minutes 25 seconds West along a line
tangent to the last described curved line, 311.27 feet;
thence Westerly along a curved line, tangent to the last
described line, convex to the Northwest and having a radius
of 2,123.65 feet, an arc distance of 767.12 feet, the chord
of said arc bearing South 77 degrees 13 minutes 31 seconds

Kensington Center Phase Three A, being a Subdivision
and Resubdivision in part of the Northwest Quarter and
the Northeast Quarter of said Section 35, according to
the plat thereof recorded May 4, 1981, as document ~25859082
and also filed as L.R. #3213858; thence "South" along the
East line of said Subdivision and Resubdivision, 87.30
feet to the Northeast corner of Lot 304 in said Subdivision
and Resubdivision; thence Easterly along a curved line,
convex to the Northwest and having a radius of 2,043.68
feet, an arc distance of 772.51 feet, the chord of said
arc bearing North 76 degrees 44 minutes 41 seconds East,
767.92 feet; thence North 87 degrees 34 minutes 25 seconds
Easn along a line tangent to the last described curved
line, 311.27 feet; thence Easterly along a curved line,
tangent to the last described line, convex to the Southeast
and having a radius of 921.95 feet, an arc distance of
2.43 feet, the chord of said arc bearing North 87 degrees
28 minutes 43 seconds East, 2.43 feet; thence "South",
880.0? feet to the South line of said Northeast Quarter;
thence South 89 degrees 39 minutes 56 seconds East along
the South line of said Northeast Quarter, 1,022.87 feet
to the point of beginning, all in Cook County, Illinois.
an accurate map of which territory is attached hereto and made a
part hereof by this reference, be, and the same is hereby annexed
to the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION TWO: The Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect
is hereby directed to record in the Office of the Recorder of
Deeds, or Registrar of Titles, whichever is applicable, of Cook
County, Illinois, and to file in the Office of the County Clerk
of Cook County, Illinois, a copy of this Ordinance, together with
an accurate map of the territory annexed.
SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet
form in the manner provided by law.
