RDINANCE NO. 3624
AN ORDINANCE TO ENLARGE THE BOUNDARIES
OF SPECIAL SERVICE AREA NO. 5 IN THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 3284 adopted on November 30, 1982
there was established in this Village, Special Service Area No. 5 for
the purpose of providing necessary funding for a portion of the
Village's cost of constructing and installing necessary water
distribution mains and pumping stations in order to transport and
provide Lake Michigan Water to the territory contained within said
Special Service Area; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of Ordinance No. 3284 and the
establishment of Special Service Area No. 5, additional territory has
been annexed to the Village, which territory (as hereinafter described
in the legal description attached hereto as Exhibit A and made a part
of this Ordinance by reference) will be obtaining its water supply
within the Village from Lake Michigan water through the distribution
mains and pumping stations constructed pursuant to funding under
Special Service Area No. 5; and
WHEREAS, this Board did adopt Ordinance No. 3529 on May 21, 1985
proposing to enlarge the boundaries of Special Service Area No. 5,
within the Village by adding thereto the said territory so described;
and
WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of December , 1985, publication was made
and notice mailed to the owners of the territory proposed to be added
to Special Service Area No. 5, that a public hearing would be
conducted by the Village to consider the enlargement of the boundaries
of Special Service Area No. 5 by the addition of the territory herein
described; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees duly held a Public
hearing on December 17, 1985 for the purpose of considering the
enlargement of the boundaries of Special Service Area No. 5 by the
addition of the territory herein described; and
WHEREAS, for a period of sixty (60) days following the final
adjournment of said Public hearing no petition was filed with this
Village objecting %o the proposed enlargement of the boundaries of
Special Service Area No. 5; and
WHEREAS, all of the territory sought to be included herein within the
boundaries of Special Service Area No. 5 is contiguous to the present
boundaries of Special Service Area No. 5 and within the corporate
limits of the Village of Mount Prospect and will benefit specially
from the municipal services to be provided; which services are unique
and are in addition to municipal services provided by the Village of
Mount Prospect as a whole; and
WHEREAS, this Board deems it to be in the best interest of the Village
of Mount Prospect that the boundaries of Special Service Area No. 5 be
so enlarged to include therein %he territory herein made a part of
this Ordinance by reference.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: This Board does hereby incorporate as findings of
by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect the recitals hereinabove set forth.

SECTION TWO: There shall hereby be added to the boundaries of
Special Service Area No. 5 the territory legally described and set
forth in the attached Exhibit A which is made a part of this Ordinance
by reference; all of which territory is contained within the
oundaries of Special Service Area No. 5
SECTION THREE~ That territory hereby added to this Special Service
Area No. 5 shall receive the special municipal services to the Special
Service Area including, but not limited to municipal services
consisting of the construction and installation of the necessary water
distribution mains and pumping stations to provide Lake Niehigan water
to the Special Service Area, and shall assume and pay its
proportionate portion of the cost of said special services for which
general obligation bonds have previously been issued by this Village.
SECTION FOUR: An accurate map of the territory being added to
Special Service Area No. 5 is attached hereto and is also made a part
of this Ordinance by reference,
SECTION FIVE: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in
the manner provided by law.

Center - Phase Five, being a Subdivision in part of said
Northeast Quarter, filed in the Office of the Registrar of Titles

941, also lying East of the Easterly lines of Out Lot 1, as shown
on plat of Kensington Center - Phase Three-A, being a subdivision
in part of said Northeast Quarter and said Northwest Quarter,
recorded May 4, 1981, as Document No. 25859082 and also filed in
said Office of the Registrar of Titles as L.R. No. 32 13 858; and
also lying South of the Southeasterly line of Kensington Center
Resubdivision Sixteen, being a resubdivision in part of said
Northeast Quarter and said Northwest Quarter, recorded March 29,
1985, as Document No. 27493606 and also filed in said Office of
the Registrar of Titles as L.R.No. 34 27 399, said Southeasterly
line of Kensington Center -Resubdivision Sixteen being also the
center line of the Feehanville Drainage Ditch, all in Cook
County, Illinois.

North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, described
as follows: All that part of said Northeast Quarter lying East of
the East line of Lot 304 in Kensington Center -Resubdivision XI
(Eleven), being a resubdivision in part of said Northeast Quarter
and part of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 35, as shown on
plat recorded July 1, 1983, as Document No. 26670956, and also
filed in the Office of the Registrar of Titles of Cook County,
Illinos, as L. R. No. 33 16 291; also lying South of the
Southerly lines of Feehanville Drive and lying West of the West
line of Lot 503 as shown on plat of Kensington Center -Phase
Five, being a subdivision in part of said Northeast Quarter also
filed in said Office of the Registrar of Titles, February 8,
1985, as L.R.No. 34 18 941, all in Cook County, Illinois.
