RESOLUTION NO.
56-85
A RESOLUTION HONORING THE FOREST VIEW FALCONS
' ~
WHEREAS, the Forest View Falcons Football team is represented
by Mount Prospect residents and surrounding communities; and
WHEREAS, during the regular season, the Forest View Falcons
Football Team has achieved an impressive record of 12 wins and
only 2 losses, reflecting on both the excellence in coaching
under Coach Fred Lussow and his staff, as well as the hard
work and determination of the entire Falcons Football Team;
and
WHEREAS, the Forest View Falcons earned the title of Mid
Suburban League South Champions, advancing and winning the
Preliminaries, Quarter Finals and Semi-Finals and going all the
way to the State Championship where they came in second in the
State of Illinois; and
¡WHEREAS, Coach Fred Lussow has been nominated Coach of the
I Year in the South Division; and
WHEREAS, team member Brad Quast has been nominated for All
State Honors, and along with fellow team members Dan Bazar,
Dave Eddy, Ron Kiolbassa, Brian McCarthy, Jeff Prince and Jack
Smith have been named All Conference in the Mid Suburban
I League; and

WHEREAS, Forest View High School can be proud of the fine
achievement of their Falcons Football Team.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS:
I SECTION ONE: That the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect express their sincere
congratulations to Coach Lussow, the entire Falcons Football
Team and all those involved with the Forest View Falcons for
the excellent performance.
SECTION TWO: That a copy of this Resolution shall be
forwarded to Forest View High School.
SECTION THREE: That this Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval in the
manner provided by law.
