Mike Janonis suggested that maybe the EDC should
consider having a seminar for Brokers and GC's, producing a
check list of what to submit to get the review done quickly.
Ken Fritz said that "pre conference" with staff can answer a
lot of questions.
Ben Trapani stated that our goal is to get new business
into town quickly.
Jim Ebbinghaus made a good suggestion by asking that
the "Customer" be kept informed by the Village staff as to
the status of his project and the review.
Mike Janonis said that today is a good starting point,
that staff needed to hear our concerns, that staff needs to
look at how they are doing things. We need to come up with a
game plan, working smarter, educating the brokers. Our Goal
is to attract business.
B. Business Visitation Jim Ebbinghaus
Jim Ebbinghaus indicated that a revised draft of the
business survey is to be sent to each EDC member for review
in the nest two weeks. A separate list of larger
business /industrial firms will be highlighted to indicate
those businesses that each EDC member will be assigned as
the contact person.
The game plan is to begin to set up visits with each
of the larger businesses as a follow up to the Business
survey. Ken Fritz will continue to arrange visits with a
representative sample of small and large size businesses in
the meantime.
C. Committee Report Action Plan, Demographics
A brief report was submitted by the committee assigned
to develop steps toward an action plan. The committee of
Dale Jessie, Karen Johnson, Ed Sroczynski assisted by Ken

Plan.
