OLD BUSINESS
Development Update
Mr. Cooney asked Mr. Conroy to provide a brief update on the Randhurst Village project. Mr. Conroy
gave an update on leasing and construction activity and advised the project would be nearly complete
by the end of 2012. Mr. Cooney provided an update and indicated that development activity was
heating up throughout town.
Rand Rd. /Central Rd. /Mount Prospect Rd. Intersection Update
Mr. Cooney provided an overview of staff's efforts to date to address concerns with traffic flow on Rand
Road. He stated that the Engineering Division had sent out an RFP in 2010 for an intersection study
and that they did not pursue it after the cost came back at over $40,000. Staff will pursue alternative
funding sources to review a larger segment of Rand Road from Business Center Drive to Central Road
but this likely would not take place for several years due to available funding.
