Higgins Road Suite 700 Rosemont, Illinois 60018 PROPERTY OWNER: Village of Mount Prospect REQUEST: MEMBERS PRESENT: Plat of resubdivision creating one lot of record Joseph Donnelly Leo Floros Richard Rogers Matthew Sledz Keith Youngquist Arlene Juracek, Chairperson MEMBERS ABSENT: Merrill Cotten STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT: Suzanne Mas6, Long Range Planner Judy Connolly, AICP, Senior Planner INTERESTED PARTIES: None Chairperson Arlene Juracek called the meeting to order at 7:30p.m. At 7:34, Ms. Juracek introduced Case No. PC-IS- 01, a request for a Plat of resubdivision creating one lot of record. She explained that this case would be Village Board final. Suzanne Mas6, Long Range Planner, introduced the staff memorandum for the case. Ms. Mas6 said that the subject properties are part of the Mount Prospect Downtown Strategic Plan, which was adopted as part of the Comprehensive Plan. The proposed plat of resubdivision creates one new lot of record and complies with Village Code requirements and the redevelopment project as approved by Village Board. This is an update to the Prospect Place Plat of Consolidation approved in June 1999. The previous plat allowed for the development to occur and meet zoning standards. Ms. Mas6 explained that this current Plat of Resubdivision creates one lot, Lot 2. Lot 2 is Village of Mount Prospect property and will be public parking. Lot 2 also includes a 20-foot area abutting Main Street (Rt. 83). This area will be dedicated to the Village and will give the Village greater control over any future Route 83 improvements. Ms. Mas6 pointed out that the proposed plat of subdivision is complete and has been prepared in accordance with the Development Code requirements. She conveyed staff's recommendation that the P&Z Commission recommend approval of the Residences at Village Centre (Prospect Place II) Final Plat of Resubdivision at the southwest comer of Central Road and Main Street (Rt. 83), Case No. PC-18-200I. Chairperson Arlene Juracek closed the public hearing at 7:35. Richard Rogers moved to approve the plat consolidation as requested by Case No. PC-18-01. Joseph Donnelly seconded the motion. At 9:22 p.m., after hearing two more cases, Richard Rogers made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Joseph Donnelly. The motion was approved by a voice vote and the meeting was adjourned.
