Minutes of March 3, 2012
Held at Victoria in the Park Banquets

Kulp and Mayor Irvana Wilks, Ex- Officio Special Events Commission
Absent Paul Seils, Fred Steinmiller and Tarina Wimmer
Call to Order 9:05 a.m.
Secretary's Report The Minutes from February 11, 2012 were e- mailed with copies available at this meeting.
Motion to approve the Minutes from February 11, 2012 was made by Sandy DiCaro, seconded by Linda
Hoefert. No discussion was held, motion approved unanimously.
Treasurer's Report The Treasurer's Report was distributed by Mike lanonis. Motion to accept Treasurer's
Report as presented was made by Sandy DiCaro seconded by Eileen Gattas. No discussion was held.
Citizens to Be Heard Mayor Wilks informed the SEC there is a new law in place regarding the Open Meetings
Act. To comply, commission members must take and pass an online test. Discussion was held and it was
decided that the next meeting would be a good time to get members together and take the test.

Roll Call All persons listed above and Guest Arvey DiMaria, Manager Victoria In the Park Banquets
Call to Order 9:27 a.m.
Celestial Celebration Victoria in the Park Banquets would customize the evening to meet our needs. They are
known for their menu selections, we were told our menu selections would be beef, chicken and fish, which
would be chosen by the guest that evening. The commission Members were given a tour of the facility and
then had open discussion.
Adjourn 10:07 a.m. Motion made by Sandy DiCaro, seconded by Eileen Gattas. Motion approved
unanimously.
