There will be no separate discussion of those items unless a Board member, or resident from the audience, so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered in its normal sequence on the agenda. OLD BUSINESS A. 1. PZ 09-02, 1060 W. Northwest Highway 2® reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP WITH RESPECT TO THE ZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM B-1 (General-Commercial) TO R-2 (Residential) FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1060 W. NORTHWEST HIGHWAY This ordinance authorizes the rezoning of property from B-1 (General-Commercial) to R-2 (Residential) to allow a townhome development. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval by a vote of 4-2. (At the petitioner's request, this case was deferred from the May 21, 2002 Village Board meeting). 2® reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1060 W. NORTHWEST HIGHWAY This ordinance grants a Conditional Use permit for the construction of a 7-unit townhome development. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended denial by a vote of 3-3, therefore a super-majority vote is required from the Village Board for approval. (At the petitioner's request, this case was deferred from the May 21, 2002 Village Board meeting). PZ 11-02,306 N. Owen Street, Residence 2® reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING VARIATIONS FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 306 NORTH OWEN STREET This ordinance grants variations for the construction of an oversized garage encroaching into the side yard. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended denial of the request by a vote of 6-0, therefore a super-majority vote is required from the Village Board for approval. (At the petitioner's request, this case was deferred from the May 21, 2002 Village Board meeting). (Exhibit D) (Exhibit E) (Exhibit F) Xl. NEW BUSINESS A. *PC 17-01, Olson Resubdivision, 1150 W. Northwest Highway A RESOLUTION APPROVING A FINAL PLAT OF RESUBDIVISION This resolution allows the consolidation of three lots into one lot of record. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval of the request by a vote of 6-0. *PC 18-01, Prospect Place II Plat of Resubdivision, Southwest corner of Main Street (Route 83) and Central Road A RESOLUTION APPROVING A FINAL PLAT OF RESUBDIVISION This resolution subdivides property to create one lot of record. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval of the request by a vote of 6-0. PZ 12-02,902 Sumac Lane, Residence 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 902 SUMAC LANE This ordinance allows the construction of an unenclosed, covered porch. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval by a vote of 6-0. (Exhibit G) (Exhibit H) (Exhibit I) XlI. VILLAGE MANAGER'S REPORT A. Request for Board approval to accept 2002 Crack Sealing Contract from SKC Construction, Inc. ($50,090), through Northwest Municipal Conference bid program. B. Status Report Xlll. CLOSED SESSION LITIGATION 5 ILCS 120/2 (c) (11) - Litigation, when an action against, affecting or on behalf of the particular public body has been filed and is pending before a court or administrative tribunal, or when the public body finds that an action is probable or imminent, in which case the basis for the finding shall be recorded and entered into the minutes of the closed meeting. PERSONNEL 5 ILCS 120/2 (c) (2) - Collective negotiating matters between the public body and its employees or their representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes or employees. LAND ACQUISITION 5 ILCS 120/2 (c) (5) - The purchase or lease of real property for the use of the public body, including meetings held for the purpose of discussing whether a particular parcel should be acquired.
