This Ordinance establishes the following prohibitions on
traffic movement:
1. No right turn from southbound Rand Road onto Isabella
between the hours of 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM
2. No left turn from eastbound Isabella onto Rand Road
between the hours of 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM
3. No right turn from southbound Rand Road onto Henry between
the hours of 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM
4. No left turn from eastbound Henry onto Rand Road between
the hours of 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM
5. No left turn from Northbound Louis onto Rand Road between
the hours of 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM (Exhibit D)

A. ZBA 3-97, Mt. Prospect Park District, Trade Service Property
At the request of the Petitioner, this case has been deferred until
the regular meeting of June 17th.
B. ZBA 7-97, 208 E. Rand Road
The Petitioner is requesting a Conditional Use in a B-3 zoning
district to allow the operation of a tire sales and service "drop-off"
automotive service center. The Zoning Board of Appeals
recommended granting request by a vote of 6-0.
C. ZBA 10-97, 2304 Terminal Drive
The Petitioner is requesting an amendment to the Planned Unit
Development governing the Tank Farms to permit a storage tank
and fire suppression pump house for Uno-Ven Tank Farm. The
Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting requests by a
vote of 6-0.
D. Appeal from decision of the Zoning Board of Appeals
ZBA 9-97, Timberlake Apartments, 1400 South Busse Road
The Petitioner requested a variation to permit a 6 foot high fence
at the rear (west) of the property and along the south property
line. The Zoning Board of Appeals decision to approve the request
is final. Representatives from School District 59 are appealing the
decision due to the fact that the property owner does not plan to
have an opening or gate in the fence for access to John Jay
Elementary School.
E. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1996
F. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENTRY INTO AN
AMENDED AGREEMENT FOR NORTHWEST CENTRAL
DISPATCH SYSTEM
This Resolution authorizes the Villages of Hoffman Estates
and Streamwood to become members of NWCDS. (Exhibit G)
G. A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A DIRECTOR AND ALTERNATE
DIRECTOR TO THE SOLID WASTE AGENCY OF NORTHERN
COOK COUNTY (SWANCC)
This Resolution designates Trustee Corcoran to represent the
Village with Trustee Hoefert as alternate to SWANCC. (Exhibit H)
H. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING THE
REPRESENTATIVE TO THE NORTHWEST SUBURBAN MUNICIPAL
JOINT ACTION WATER AGENCY (JAWA)
This Ordinance designates Mayor Farley to represent the Village
with Trustee Lohrstorfer as alternate to JAWA. (Exhibit J)
I. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE
OF SURPLUS PROPERTY
This Ordinance authorizes surplus office furniture to be sold
in conjunction with the Public Works Open House (Exhibit K)
J. Accept public improvements installed in conjunction with
the Estates of Marcella Subdivision
