ZBA 1-97, 1401 North Sauk Lane This case, continued from a previous meeting, is a request to allow an attached garage to be constructed within 4 feet from the exterior side yard for a garage and living quarters. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting the request to allow the garage to be constructed 4 feet from the lot line but to eliminate the 2nd floor living space over the proposed garage. B. ZBA 6-97, 999 N. Elmhurst Road, UltraZone Laser Tag Arena 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE FOR ULTRAZONE LASER TAG ARENA LOCATED WITHIN THE RANDHURST SHOPPING CENTER This Ordinance grants a Conditional Use to allow the former Party Zone area to be used as an amusement establishment/game room. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting this request by a vote of 6-0. (Exhibit A) C. ZBA 16-97, 280-290 Westgate Road, Westgate Apartments 1. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT (Exhibit B) 2. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING VARIATIONS FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 280-290 WESTGATE ROAD (Exhibit C) 3. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING MODIFICATIONS FROM THE DEVELOPMENT CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 280-290 WESTGATE ROAD (Exhibit D) 4. Accept Plat of Condominium D. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 22 (WATER AND SEWER) OF THE VILLAGE CODE This Ordinance increases the water and sewer rates for Village services. (Exhibit E) IX. NEW BUSINESS A. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF 1997 VOLUME CAP OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT TO THE ILLINOIS HOUSING DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (MCC) CERTIFICATE PROGRAM (Exhibit F) B. The Safety Commission recommends the following traffic movements be prohibited between the hours of 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM - 6:30 PM a. No right turn from Southbound Rand Road onto Isabella b. No left turn from Eastbound Rand Road onto Isabella c. No right turn from Southbound Rand Road onto Henry Street d. No left turn from Eastbound Henry onto Rand Road e. No left turn from Eastbound Louis onto Rand Road C. A RESOLUTION REGARDING THE RELEASE OF CLOSED SESSION MINUTES This Resolution authorizes minutes of specific Closed Sessions to be released from a confidential status. (Exhibit G) X.
