A. *2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 4
(APPOINTIVE VILLAGE OFFICERS) OF THE MOUNT PROSPECT
VILLAGE CODE
This ordinance allows the Village Manager and the Village Board
additional options for soliciting and approving bids.

*2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 23 (OFFENSES
AND MISCELLANEOUS REGULATIONS) OF THE MOUNT PROSPECT
VILLAGE CODE
This ordinance establishes additional guidelines for organizations that
solicit on public rights-of-way within the Village.

1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FOR PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 102 SOUTH WILLIAM STREET
This ordinance allows the construction of an unenclosed porch, with
a nine-foot (9') front yard setback encroachment. The Planning and
Zoning Commission has recommended approval by a vote of 5-0.

PZ-39-04, 1 E. Rand Road, CVS Pharmacy
1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1 EAST RAND ROAD
This ordinance authorizes the installation of an electronic message board
sign. The Planning and Zoning Commission voted 3-1, with one abstention,
to deny the request; the petitioner is appealing that decision.

* A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT TO THE MOUNT PROSPECT
PUBLIC LIBRARY UNDER THE TERMS OF A GROUND LEASE AGREEMENT
This resolution authorizes the annual lease payment of $1.00 to the
Mount Prospect Public Library for property used for the Municipal Parking
Garage.
