Board member, or resident from the audience, so requests, in which event the item will
be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered in its normal sequence on the agenda.
OLD BUSINESS
A. ZBA 34-01, 1801 Boulder Drive, Residence
2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FOR PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 1801 BOULDER DRIVE
This ordinance grants variations to allow a shed with a non-conforming
setback and size, and easement exceptions. The Zoning Board of Appeals,
on October 25, 2001, recommended denial of the request by a vote of 7-0,
therefore a super-majority vote is required by the Village Board for approval.
(At the request of the petitioner, this case was deferred from the
February 19, 2002 meeting).

NEW BUSINESS
A. Request for approval to extend the Conditional Use permit granted to
Taco Twins, Inc., 820 E. Rand Road, by Ordinance No. 5096 (3/22/00)
for six months, until September 22, 2002. The property owner is negotiating
with other restaurants for development, as the original proposal for a
Taco BelI/KFC did not materialize.
1st reading of AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND WATER AND SEWER RATES
SET FORTH IN APPENDIXA, DIVISION II OF THE MOUNT PROSPECT
VILLAGE CODE
This ordinance amends the Village Code by authorizing a 4% increase in
water and sewer rates.
1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF
GENERAL OBLIGATION REFUNDING BONDS, SERIES 2002A AND
GENERAL OBLIGATION REFUNDING BONDS, SERIES 2002B, OF
THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS
*A RESOLUTION FOR IMPROVEMENT BY MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE
ILLINOIS HIGHWAY CODE (BLR 4103)
This resolution appropriates $1,480,400 from Motor Fuel Tax funds for the
2002 street resurfacing program.

~A RESOLUTION FOR MAINTENANCE OF STREETS AND HIGHWAYS
BY MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE ILLINOIS HIGHWAY CODE (BLR 4123)
This resolution appropriates $1,229,806 from Motor Fuel Tax funds for
the general maintenance of streets and highways in the Village.

A. Bid results:
1. 2002 Street Resurfacing Program
Request for Board approval to:
1. Waive the bid process for the purchase of a warning siren telemetry
system;
2. Purchase a warning siren telemetry system from Fulton Contracting
Company, in an amount not to exceed $25,250.
*Request for Board approval to purchase one Gateway server for the Police
Department, one Gateway server for the Fire Department, and one external
tape drive from CDW for the Police Department, in an amount not to exceed
$11,692.
