ORDINANCE NO. 3709
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14 ENTITLED
"ZONING" OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
WHEREAS, MARK W. BUSSE, the Petitioner herein, has filed a
petition for a text amendment to Chapter 14, entitled "Zoning"
the Village Code of Mount Prospect, Illinois; and
of
WHEREAS, said text amendment includes and pertains to a truck
rental facility as an allowable special use in a B-4 District; and
WHEREAS, said zoning amendment has been forwarded to the Zoning
Board of Appeals which Board has held a public hearing on the
subject request under Case No. ZBA-52-A-86 on the 25th day of
Spetember, 1986, pursuant to due and proper publication thereof; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has submitted its findings
and recommendations pertaining to the zoning amendment under Case
No. ZBA-52-A-86 to the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount ProspecT; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interests of the Village
of Mount Prospect that said text amendment be adopted.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS,
FOLLOWS:

SECTION ONE: Chapter 14 entitled "Zoning"
of Mount Prospect, Illinois, 1981, as amended,
amended as follows:

A. By amending Section 14.2101.C to read as follows:
Special Uses. In the B-~ Business Retail and Service
District the following uses may be allowed by special
use permitted in accordance with Article VII of this
Chapter:
1. Game rooms.
2. Drive-through facilities for a Class IV
restaurant.

Satellite antenna, with a diameter exceeding
forty inches (40"), subject to the following:

The maximum diameter of a dish shall not
exceed eleven feet (11').
The dish shall be
