Published in pamphlet form by authority of the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, the 17th day of September , 1986. ORDINANCE NO. ~6Q~ AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT LAND LYING IN SECTION 22, TOWNSHIP 41 NORTH, RANGE 11, EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN IN COOK COUNTY WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect did hold a Public Hearing on August 19, 1986, pursuant to law, which Public Hearing was for the purpose of considering the involuntary annexation of land hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, said land is not within the corporate limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, find and believe it to be in the best interest of said Village that the said land and territory be annexed to the Village. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: That all land and territory legally described as follows: That part of the South 20 acres of the North 40 acres (except the North 16.5 feet of the South 20 acres of the North 40 acres) and the North 20 acres of the South 40 acres, lying Easterly of the Illinois State Toll Highway Commission right of way, as shown in the deed thereto recorded in the Recorder's Office of Cook County, Illinois, on November 9, 1956 as document ~16751119, and lying West of the center line of Busse Road (also the East line of the Southeast Quarter of Section 22), all in the East Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 22, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. also Ail that part of Bu~se Road lying East of and adjoining the above described property, in Cook County, Illinois. an accurate map of which territory is attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois. SECTION TWO: The Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect is hereby directed to record in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds, or Registrar of Titles, whichever is applicable, of Cook County, Illinois, and to file in the Office f the County Clerk of Cook County, Illinois, a copy of this Ordinance together with an accurate map of the territory annexed. SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after is passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
