Published in pamphlet form by the authority of the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, the 18th day of ,l]~n~ , 1986 ORDINANCE NO. 3672 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 311 BOBBY LANE IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, Glenn Davis has filed an application for variation with respect to property Commonly known as 311 Bobby Lane in the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois (the "Subject Property"); and WHEREAS, the Subject Property is described as follows: Lot 6 in Gettysburg Estates, being a subdivision of part of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 11, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. WHEREAS, Petitioner seeks a variation from the following provisions of Chapter 14 of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, Illinois, to allow the consturction of a screened porch to be built on the Subject Property having a floor area ratio of .37, within a zoning district otherwise requiring a floor area ratio of .35 pursuant to Section 14.1103 of Article XI, Chapter 14; and WHEREAS~ a public hearing was held on the variation request (designated as Case No. ZBA~28-V-86) before the Zoning Board of Appeals in the Village of Mount Prosepct on the 15th day of May, 1986, pursuant to due and proper notice thereof published in the Mount Prospect Herald on the 29th day of April, 1986; and WHEREAS, The Zoning Board of Appeals has submitted its findings and recommendations to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect to allow the requested variation, and the Presiden~ and Board of Trustees of the Village have given further consideration to the variation request and have determined that the same satisfies the standards set forth in Section 14.605 of Article VI of Chapter 14 of the Village Code, and this Board further finds that it would be in the best interest of the Village to grant the request for variation. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE: The recitals set forth hereinabove are incorporated herein as findings of fact by the President and Board of Trustees. SECTION TWO: The President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect hereby grant to the Subject Property the variations requested with respect to Section 14.1103 of Article XI Of Chapter 14 of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, Illinois, to allow the construction of an addition to an existing dwelling having a floor area ratio of .37 and with the further conditions that no sheds or other accessory buildings are to be permitted on the Subject Property, all as shown on the Si~e Plan attached hereto. SECTION THREE: Except for the variation granted herein, all other applicable Village of Mount Prospect Ordinances and Regulations shall remain in full force and effect as to the Subject Property. SECTION FOUR: This Ordinance shall be full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
