Published in pamphlet form by authority of the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, the 9th day of April , 1987. ORDINANCE NO. 3764 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP WITH RESPECT TO THE ZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY IN A R-X SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, John Whitcomb has filed an application to rezone certain portions of property hereinafter described from a R-X Single-family Residence District to a R-1 Single-family as provided in Article XI of Chapter 14 of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, Illinois; and WHEREAS, the property is commonly known as 201S Busse Road in the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois (the "Subject Property"); and is legally described as follows: That part of lot "K" in Kirchoff Subdivision of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of the North 10 chains of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 11, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, described as follows: Commencing at a point in the West line said lot "K" 150 feet South of the Northwest corner thereof; thence South of the West line of said lot "K", 226.72 feet more or less to a point, 283.66 feet North of the Southwest corner of said lot "K", 759.49 feet to the center of Weller Creek, thence Northerly along to the center of Weller Creek, 226.73 feet, more or less to a line 150 feet South, (as measured on the West line of lot "K") of said parallel with the North line of said lot "K"; thence West on said parallel line 751.19 feet to the place of beginning, in Cook County, Illinois and WHEREAS, said rezoning request is for the purpose of developing a 9 lost single family subdivision where the lots will exceed the minimum standards of the R-1 Zoning District; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the variation request (designated as Case No. ZBA 5-Z-87) before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect on the 26th day of February, 1987, pursuant to due and proper notice thereof published in the Mount Prospect Herald on the 10th day of February, 1987; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has submitted its findings and recommendations to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect to allow the requested rezoning; and WHEREAS, this Board has considered the findings and recommendations of the Zoning Board of Appeals and does hereby determine it to be in the best interests of the Village to grant the requested rezoning. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE: The recitals set forth hereinabove are incorporated herein as findings of fact by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect. age 2 ZBA 5-Z-87 SECTION TWO: The 6fficial zoning map pertaining to Chapter 14 entitled "Zoning" of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, Illinois, as amended, is hereby further amended by reclassifying certain portions of the R-X Single-Family Residence District to a R-1 Single-Family Residence District, which is legally described as above. SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
