ORDINANCE NO. 3806
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP WITH
RESPECT TO THE ZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY IN
A R-X SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDECE DISTRICT
IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, Davdan, Inc. has filed an application to rezone certain
portions of property hereinafter described from a R-X
Single-family Residence District to a I-1 Light-Industrial as
provided in Article XXII of Chapter 14 of the Village Code of
Mount Prospect, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, the property is commonly known as 1685 W. Imperial Court
in the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois (the "Subject
Property"); and is legally described as follows:
Lot 5 (except the west 40.0 feet thereof) in
Algonquin-Busse Industrial Park, being a
Subdivision of part of the West half of the
Northwest Quarter of Section 23, Township 41
North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, according to the plat thereof recorded
July 29, 1968 as Document 20565713 in Cook County,
Illinois;
and
WHEREAS, said rezoning request is for the purpose of developing
an Industrial office/warehouse building.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the variation request
(designated as Case No. ZBA 36-Z-87) before the Zoning Board of
Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect on the 18th day of June,
1987, pursuant to due and proper notice thereof published in the
Mount Prospect Herald on the 2nd day of June, 1987; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has submitted its findings
and recommendations to the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect to allow the requested rezoning; and
WHEREAS, this Board has considered the findings and
recommendations of the Zoning Board of Appeals and does hereby
determine it to be in the best interests of the Village to grant
the requested rezoning.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: The recitals set forth hereinabove are
incorporated herein as findings of fact by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect.
SECTION TWO: The official zoning map pertaining to Chapter 14
entitled "Zoning" of the Village Code of Mount Prospect,
Illionis, as amended, is hereby further amended by reclassifying
certain portions of the R-X Single-Family Residence District to a
I-1 Light Industrial District, which is legally described as
above.

SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet
form in the manner provided by law.
