Published in pamphlet form by authority of the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, the 17th day of June , 1987. ORDINANCE NO. 3789 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP WITH RESPECT TO THE ZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY IN A R-1 SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDECE DISTRICT IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, Mitroff Development has filed an application to rezone certain portions of property hereinafter described from a R-X Single-family Residence District to a R-1 Single-family as provided in Article XI of Chapter 14 of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, Illinois; and WHEREAS, the property is commonly known as 1840 W. Golf Road in the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois (the "Subject Property"); and is legally described as follows: Exhibit "A" and; WHEREAS, said rezoning request is for the purpose of developing a single family detached home subdivision; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the variation request (designated as Case No. ZBA 18-Z-87) before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect on the 7th day of May, 1987, pursuant to due and proper notice thereof published in the Mount Prospect Herald on the 6th day of April, 1987; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has submitted its findings and recommendations to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS, this Board has considered the findings and recommendations of the Zoning Board of Appeals and does hereby determine it to be in the best interests of the Village to grant the requested rezoning. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE: The recitals set forth hereinabove are incorporated herein as findings of fact by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect. SECTION TWO: The official zoning map pertaining to Chapter 14 entitled "Zoning" of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, Illionis, as amended, is hereby further amended by reclassifying certain portions of the R-X Single-Family Residence District to a R-1 Single-Family Residence District, which is legally described as above. age 2 ZBA 18-Z-87 SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall from and after its passage, approval form in the manner provided by law. be in full force and effect and publication in pamphlet PASSED and APPROVED this 16th day of June , 1987.
