Published in pamphlet form by authority of the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, the 16th day of December , 1987. ORDINANCE NO. 3879 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING FEES FOR SPECIFIC ZONING RELATED REQUESTS WHEREAS, in order to provide certain services to residents and developers it is necessary to establish fees to cover the adminstrative costs associated with providing these services; and WHEREAS, the increased demand for variations and special requests for Zoning relief have reached a point where it places a financial burden on the general fund of the Village of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS, the petitioner seeking relief from provisions of the Zoning Ordinance should cover the costs associated with their request; and WHEREAS, the fees established to cover the administrative costs involved with the various requests for variations from the Zoning Ordinance have not increased as the cost of administration increased; and WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Mayor and Board of Trustees that fees charged for certain services should be reviewed and adjusted from time to time to more accurately cover the costs associated with administering various requests for variations from Chapter 14 "Zoning Ordinance". NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE: That the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have determined that certain fees should be established from time to time in order to cover the administration costs associated with providing specified services. SECTION TWO: That the following fees shall be established for requests for variations from specified Sections of Chapter 14, Zoning Ordinance: A. Zoning Variations (Section 14.602.C.2) 1. Ail individual lot single family requests $ 100 2. Properties less than one (1) acre $ 250 3. Properties greater than one (1) acre $ 500 B. Special Uses (Section 14.702.C.2) 1. Ail individual lot single family requests $ 100 2. Properties less than one (1) acre $ 250 3. Properties greater than one (1) and less than five (5) acres $ 500 4. Properties greater than five (5) and less than ten (10) acres $1,250 5. Properties greater than ten (10) and less than fifteen (15) acres $1,500 6.
