ORDINANCE NO. 3B77 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP WITH RESPECT TO THE ZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY IN A R-X SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, Pasquale Giannini has filed an application to rezone certain property hereinafter described from a R-X Single-Family Residence District to a R-1 Single-Family District as provided in Article XXII of Chapter 14 of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, Illinois; and WHEREAS, the property is commonly known as 234 S. Douglas in the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois (the "Subject Property"); and is legally described as follows: Lot 3 in Block 9 in Feuerborn and Klode's Arlington Manor, being a Subdivision of the West 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 10 and part of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 9, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois; and WHEREAS, said rezoning request is for the purpose of developing a Single-Family dwelling. WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the variation request (designated as Case No. ZBA 80-Z-87) before the Zoning Board Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect on the ]9th day of November, 1987, pursuant to due and proper notice thereof published in the Mount Prospect Herald on the 2nd day of November, 1987; and of WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has submitted its findings and recommendations to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect to allow the requested rezoning; and WHEREAS, this Board has considered the findings and recommendations of the Zoning Board of Appeals and does hereby determine it to be in the best interests of the Village to grant the requested rezoning. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE: The recitals set forth hereinabove are incorporated herein as findings of fact by the President Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect. and SECTION TWO: The official zoning map pertaining to Chapter 14 entitled "Zoning" of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, Illionis, as amended, is hereby further amended by reclassifying certain portions of the R-X Single-Family District to a R-1 Single-Family District, which is legally described as above. SECTION THREE: Except for the changes codes of the Village of Mount Prospect Property in their entirety. stated herein all other shall apply to the Subject age 2 SECTION FOUR: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
