RDINANCE NO. 3900
AN ORDINANCE MODIFYING SECTIONS OF CHAPTER 16
ENTITLED "DEVELOPMENT CODE" OF THE VILLAGE
CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
WHEREAS, Home by Hemphill has requested a modification of the
Development Code pertaining to requirements for driveway width
and curb and gutter requirements; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect,
Cook County, Illinois, has reviewed the proposed modifications to
Chapter 16, Development Code, of the Village Code of Mount
Prospect for property commonly known as
Attached Exhibit "A";
and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has forwarded its recommendations
relative to modifications to Chapter 16, Development Code, to the
President and Board of Trustees, which recommendations have been
considered at a regular meeting of the President and Board of
Trustees; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect have determined the best interests of the Village
of Mount Prospect will be attained by the adoption of the
recommendations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That modifications from Chapter 16 entltr~ed
"Development Code" of the Village Code of Mount Prospect are
hereby granted, for the property being the subject of this
Ordinance, as to Section 16.403.B.2 is hereby modified to permit
private driveways of twenty feet (20') ~nstead of twenty-four
feet (24') and Section 16.403.B.1 and 16.403.B.3 to allow
ellm~natlon of required curb and gutters on private driveways
leading to townhouse units.
SECTION TWO: Except for the changes stated herein all other
codes of the Village of Mount Prospect shall apply to the Subject
Property in their entirety.
SECTION THREE: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in
pamphlet form as provided by law.

13 in said Busse and Wille's Kesubdivision in Mount Prospect;
thence south alonE the west line of said Lot 13 and said west
line extended to the centerline of-Evergreen Avenue; thence west
along said centerllne of Evergreen Avenue to the extension of the
east line of Lot C in the Resubdivision of Lots 2 through 6 in
the subdivision of Block 10 in said Busse and Wtlle's Resub~
division in Mount Prospect according to the plat thereof recorded
3/16/1918 as Torrens Doc. 81952; thence south along said east
line extended and east line of said Lot "C" to the east-
southeasterly corner of sa~d Lot "C"; thence southwest along the
southeast line of said Lot "C" to the northeasterly line of
Northwest Highway; thence southeast along said northeasterly line
of Northwest Highway to the southwest corner of Lot "A" of George
R. Busse's Resubdivision of Block 9 of Busse and Wille's Resub~
