AN ORDINANCE MODIFYING SECTIONS OF CHAPTER 16
ENTITLED "DEVELOPMENT CODE" OF THE VILLAGE CODE
OF MOUNT PROSPECT FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY AS 1690 E. EUCLID
WHEREAS, Amoco Oil Company has requested modifications from the
Development Code (Chapter 16) of the Village of Mount Prospect
pertaining to requirements to retain the existing two (2)
driveways, thirty-five feet (35') in width on Euclid Avenue and
the Southernmost driveway, thirty-five feet (35') wide, on Wolf
Road, rather than the twenty-four foot (24') width requirement by
the Development Code; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect has
reviewed the proposed modifications to the Development Code
(Chapter 16) for property commonly known as 1690 East Euclid
Avenue and legally described as follows:
The South 175 feet of the North 225 feet of the West 175
feet of the East 225 feet of the East Half of the
southeast Quarter of section 26, Township 42 North,
Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook
County, Illinois;
and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has forwarded its recommendations
-relative to the modifications requested herein to the President
and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, and the
President and Board of Trustees have determined that the best
interests of the Village would be served in granting the
modifications requested herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the recitals set forth hereinabove are
incorporate herein as findings of fact by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect.
SECTION TWO: That modifications from the Development Code
(Chapter 16) are hereby granted to the Subject Property to permit
two (2) existing driveways, each thirty-five feet (35') wide, on
Euclid Avenue and the southernmost driveway on wolf Road, thirty-
five feet (35') wide, rather than twenty-four foot (24') wide
driveways as set forth in the Development Code.
SECTION THREE: The modifications granted herein are subject to
construction to be in accordance with the Preliminary Plan
submitted and as approved by the Village.
SECTION FOUR: Except for the modification from the Development
Code granted herein, all other requirements of said Development

Code shall apply to the sub]ect Property.
SECTION FIVE: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet
form in the manner provided by law.
