enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of those items unless a
Board member, or resident from the audience, so requests, in which event the item will

OLD BUSINESS
A. ~2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 5 (BOARDS AND
COMMISSIONS) OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
This ordinance amends the Code by creating a Planning and Zoning Commission;
the existing Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals would be eliminated
as separate groups, to form one commission.

A. *A RESOLUTION APPROVING A FINAL PLAT OF DEDICATION FOR
PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE INTERSECTION OF HARVEST LANE
AND BUSINESS CENTER DRIVE
This resolution authorizes the dedication of the subject property to allow
for the realignment of the intersection of Harvest Lane and Business Center
Drive, to improve traffic flow.
REQUEST FOR DETERMINATION OF ESTIMATED PROPERTY TAX LEVY
FOR THE YEAR 2001 (PAYABLE IN 2002) FOR BOTH MUNICIPAL AND
LIBRARY PURPOSES
The Property Tax Reform Act requires the corporate authorities of local
governments to determine the amount pf property taxes expected to be
needed at least thirty (30) days prior to adoption of the actual levy ordinance.
A notice of the increase and the public hearing will then be published in the
local newspaper.
ZBA 31-01, Text Amendments, Village of Mount Prospect
1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14 (ZONING) OF THE
VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
This ordinance amends Chapter 14 by changing the height requirements
for fences surrounding swimming pools. The Zoning Board of Appeals has
recommended approval by a vote of 5-0.
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE PROSPECT HEIGHTS
PARK DISTRICT AND THE PROSPECT HEIGHTS PUBLIC LIBRARY
This resolution authorizes Mount Prospect to enter into an agreement with
the Prospect Heights Park District and the Prospect Heights Library for the
sale of water.
