Minutes of adjourned regular meeting of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, held in the Village Hall of said Village on the 10th day of January, 1935, at the hour of 8:00 'o'clock P.M., pursuant to adjourn tent. The meeting was called to order by President Meyn and Upon calling the roll the following were found to be present: Mr. H. F. Meyn, President, and Messrs. Beigel, Budlong, Carlson, Haas, Ni ebuhr and Wille. Absent: None. The minutes of the meetings of December 4th, llth and 18th, 1934, were read and approved. It was moved and seconded that the following treasurer's report be placed on file, which motion was carried by vote of acclamation: TREASURER'S REPORT, JAN. 1ST, 1935. Firemen's Salary - see attached sheet F 225.50, It was moved by Trustee Haas and seconded by Trustee Beigel, that the water readings of Mr. Jorstad be added up and an average taken to arrive at a fair bill. Motion carried by vote of acclamation. It was moved by Trustee Beigel and seconded by Trustee Haas that a petition filed by Herman Lampe be placed on file for further discussion. Motion carried. (2 It was moved by Trustee Carlson and seconded by Trustee Budlong that the last ordinance pertaining to the Hater Rates Collector be repealed. The result of the vote being a tie the President voted and cast his vote as Way. The result of the vote being three ayes and four nays the President declared the motion lost. It was moved by Trustee Beigel that Carl Schwerman, Ernst Kruse and Rudolph Kruse be appointed as Judges and Mrs. C. Pankonin, Mrs. Alvina idille and Mildred Haas as Clerks of election to act at the special election called and to be held on the 31st day of January, 1935. The motion was seconded by Trustee vddle, and on call of the roll was carried by unanimous vote of 6 ayes and no nays. It was moved by Trustee Beigel and seconded by Trustee Budlong that the petition and letter of Bertha Ehard and other citizens be placed on file, said petition requesting r,ter softner for the Village. lotion carried. Six ayes and no nays. It was moved by Trustee Beigel and I s seconded by Trustee f% Carlson that an ordinance amending paragraph numbered three of `` Section Six of an ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance to regulate the 113 sale of alcoholic liquors in the Villag, of Mount Prospect, County t of Cook and State of Illinois ", passed by the Poard of Trustees of said Village on the 7th day of April, 1934, and approved by the President of said Village on the 7th day of April, 1934, be passed. The amendment was adopted by the follomtiing vote: Aye - Beigel, Budlong, Carlson, Haas, Niebuhr and 'Ville. Nays - None. On motion made, seconded and carried the meeting was adjourned to January 71, 1935, at the hour of eight o'clock P.M., for the purpose of canvassing the vote of the special election to be held on said date.
