MINUTES OF THE �; '``�� ,' MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THS VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT HELD IN THE VILLAGE HALL
ON MAY 18th, 1934.
The president called the meeting to order with Trustees
Beigel, Budlong, Carlson, Haas, Niebuhr and Wille responding

�✓° The clerk presented the following letter to the Board:
State of Illinois.,
Count of Cook.
I Edwin L. Busse, clerk of the Village
of Mount Prospect, County of Cook and State of Illinois.
and keeper of the records thereof, do hereby certify
that at an election held in the Village of Mount Prospect
Cook County, Illinois. on Tuesday April 1 ?th, 1934. the
following named persons were duly elected to the office
set opposit their respective names and that each of them has
filed in my office the oath of office as required by Law:

The President then presented the following committees for
the approval of the Board members:
To the Honorable Board of Trustees,
of the Village of Mount Prospect, I11.
Gentlemen:
By virtue of authority conferred upon
me by ordinance I hereby appoint the following
Committees for the ensuing fiscal year and
respectfully ask your concurrence therein:
FINANCE, PUBLIC PARKS
AND BUILDINGS. POLICE & LIGHT
Herman Haas, Chairman Edwin Wille Chairman
Walter Niebuhr Herman Haaa
Alvin Beigel Walter Niebuhr
JUDICIARY FIRE & WATER
Arvid Carlson, Chairman Wlater Niebuhr, Chairman
Dud Budlong Herman Haaa

HEALTH & DRAINAGE
Streets & SIDEWALKS

It was moves: by Trustee Wille and 2nd by Trustee Beigel
that the appointments be confirmed. Ayes: Beigel, Budlong
Carlson, Haas, Niebuhr, and Wille. Nays: None. The President
declared the motion carried.
It was moved by Trustee Budlong and 2nd by Trustee Carlson
that the Hours of places selling Liquor shall be 7: A.M.
to 1: A, .li. Weekdays and until 2: A.M. Sunday. The vote was
es follows lyres: Budlong, Carlson and Niebuhr. Marys: Beigel
4:: Haas, Wille, and lir. President. The motion being lost Pour
Nays three Ayes.
It was moved by Trustee Carlson and 2nd by Trubtee Haas,
that the Liquor License fees shall be paid. semi - annual
Motion Carried Six Ayes no nays.
It was moved by Trustee Carlson and 2nd by Trustee Haas
that a permit be issued the V.F. W. to sell fireworks on
July 2 -3 -4, 1921. Motion Carried.
The President then presented the following for consideration
of the Board:
To the Honorable Board of Trustees,
Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois.
By, virtue of authority conferred upon me by
ordinance, 1 hereby appoint C. D. Busse, Village Treas.
and ask your concurrence therein:
It was moved by Trustee Haas and 2nd by Trustee Beigel that
C. D. Busse be appointed Village Treas. The Vote being
Ayes: Beigel, Haas, Wille and the President :: Nays: Budlong
Carlson and Niebuhr.
The President then presented the following for consideration
of the Board.
To the Honorable Board of Trustees
of the Village of Mount Prospect Ill.
By vi rture of authority conferred upon me
by ordinance I hereby appoint, Dr. Wolfarth, Rudolph
Kruse and Mrs. Pankonin RES members of the Board of
Health, and psk your concurrence therein.
It was moved by Trustee Wille and and by Trustee Beigel that
the appointments be approved. Motin carried Six Ayes no nays.
The President then presented the following:
To the Honoratle Board of Trustees
of the Village of Mount Prospect Ill.
By virtue of authority conferred upon me by
ordinance I hereby appoint John P Moehling
as Village Collector and ask your concurrence
therein.
It was mowed asy Trustee Seigel and seconded by Trustee Wille
that the appointement be concurred in. The vote being, Ayes
Beigel, Haas, Wille and the Predident. Nays Budlong, Carlson
and Niebuhr. The President declared the motion carried.
The President then presented the following:
To the Honorable Board of Trustees
of the Village of fount Prospect Ill.
By virtue of authority confered upon me by
ordinance I hereby ap #Dint Frank Bierman, Chief of the
Fire Department and ask your concurrence therein.
It was moved ay Trustee Beigel and 2nd by Trustee Haas that
the appointment be approved. The Motion was carried SIX. Ayes
no nays.

The President then presented the following:
To the Honorable Board of Trustees
of the Village of Mount Prospect I11.
By virtue of Authority conferred, upon me by
ordinance I hereby appoint William Mulso, Chief of
Police, Supt. of Bldgs. Supt. of Water Works and
Street oommis$ioner, and ask your concurrence therein.
It was moved by Trustee Wille and 2nd by Trustee Beigel that
the appointment be approved. The Motion was carried six Ayes
no nays.
The President then presented the following:
To the Honorable Board of
Trustees
of the Village of Mount Prospect Ill.
By virtue of Authority conferred upon
me by ordinance I hereby appointJohn Bencic as
Water Rates collector and respectfully ask your
concurrence therein:
It was moved and 2nd that the appointment be concurred in
the vote being Ayes: Beigel, Haas, Wille and Mr. President.
Nays: Budiong Carlson and Niehbur. The President declared
the motion carried.
