VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS? HELD IN VILLAGE HALL
OCTOBER 3rd, 1933 at 8. P.M.
The President called the meeting to order with Trustees Budlong
Carlson, Niebuhr and Wille present.
Minutes of the meetings of Sept 5th and 12th were read and approved
motion being duly made seconded and carried.
The clerk then presented the following report from Village Treasurer:

Moved By Trustee Carlson seconded by Trustee Wille that Barns
2ammt Special Assessment report be placed an file. Motion
carried by vote of acclamation. •
Trustee Carlson moved that Finance Committee make investigation
regarding County Treasurer's charges for delinquent Special
Assessments of 5562.50. This motion was seconded by Trustee
Budlong. Motion carried by vote of acclamation.

Moved by Trustee Carlson seconded by Trustee Niebuhr that bfl
be paid, same carried by the following vote Ayes: Budlong, Carlson,
Niebuhr and Wille. Nays none. The President declared the motion
carried and directed that proper vouchers be drawn.
The Clerk then read the following application for permits:
Village of Mount Prospect?
Application is hereby made by the Public Service Co. of Northern
Illinois for permission to perform work as specified below:
Make a 4'x4' concrete pavement opening 150' N.N. Bu: se St.
& 25' W. E. Main St. to make gas main repair. Opening to be
repaved as soon as possible
Tap existing 4" steel H.P. gas main 12' South of Center line of
Central Road at point 398',West of West line of Wapells Ave,
extend 1" service pipe to North property line pushing pipe under
pavement. No. pavement will be distwubed. Baokfill to be well
tamped.

Moved by Trustee Budlong, seconded by Trustee Carlson that permits
be granted. Motion carried by vote of acclamation.
It was then moved by Trustee Wille and seconded by Trustee Niebuhr
that clerk be authorized to order vehicle tags for 1934. Motion
carried by the following vote, Ayes Budlong, Carlson, Niebuhr
c and Wille, Nays none. The President declared the motion carried.
It was further moved by Trustee Wille that Pontiac be traded in
on Police Car. This motion was seconded by Trustee Carlson. The
Clerk called the roll. Ayes Budlong Carlson, Niebuhr and Wille.
Nays, none. The President declared the motion carried.
Trustee Carlson moved that $?500.00 be transferred from Water Fuld
to General Fuhd. Motion was seconded by Trustee Budlong. The clerk
called the roll, Ayes, Budiong Carlson, Niebuhr and Wille. Nays,
none. The President declared the motion carried.
The Clerk then read the following communications:

Gentlemen:
I hereby veto that certain resolution passed by this
board on September 12, 1933, appointing 0.S. Johnson to the
office of Village Collector, which resolution was filed in the
clerk's office this day: for the reason that this resolution
violated the ordinance of the Village of Mount Pro

It was moved by. Trustee it and seconded? Trustee Wille that
Mr. John P. Moehling be appointed Village The clerk
called the roll, Ayes: Budiong, Carlson, N e and Wille. Nays
none. The President declared the motion carried.
Trustee Niebuhr moved that playground equipment on Public Grounds
on East side be repaired. This Motion was seconded by Trustee Wille.
The Clerk called the roll. Ayes Niebuhr and Wille, nays Budlong
and Carlson. The President voting aye and declaring the motion
carried.
It was duly moved seconded and carried meeting adjo ned.
