President Meyn called the meeting to order with Trustee, Bndlong, Carlson, Gaul, Gould, Niebuhr and Wille present. Minutes of the meeting of Map 2nd, 1933 were read and approved as read. The Village Clerk then presented report on Special Assessments for month of May, 1933. Trustee Carlson moved that report be placed on file Trustee Wille seconded the motion and same carried by vote of acclamation The following bills were presented for payment i Public Service Co. Darley Co. 17.50 h Trustee Carlson moved that the bills be paid, Trustie Gaul seconded the motion and same carried by the following Roll Call, Ayes, Budlong, Carlson, Gaul, Gould, Niebuhr and Wille. Nays none 1 The President declared the motion carried and directed that proper vouchers be drawn. Moved by Budlong, seconded by Gould that the following Public Service Permits be granted and same carried by vote of acclamation. Make 4'x 4' openings in shoulder of road and repair gas main at following locations: 1- 44' E/E Emmerson St., 22 NIS Central Road 2- 15 E/E Emmerson St 22 n/S Central Road Break opening in sidewalk 18 "x6" to repair drip valve on gas main at the following location: 155 W/W Wille St. Approx. 6' WAY Wall Hospital 11 N.S. Prospect Ave., Install 2 - 30'4 poles and anchors on S/S Hill St. & old Elmhurst Road as shown on attached sketch. Bond of Wm Mulso for the sum of $1000.00 with Frahk Baldwin and William Kruse as sureties was presented, it was moved by Trustee Gaul, seconded by Trustee Wille that bond be accepted and the roll call was called with the following results. Ayes Budiong, Carlson, Gaul, Gould, Niebuhr and Wille, Nays, none The President declared the motion carried. �✓ It was moved by Trustee Carlson seconded by Trustee Niebuhr that we renew Insurance Policy on Ford Truok and Pontiac Car. Roll was called with the following results. Ayes, Budlong, Warlson, Gaul, Gould, Niebuhr and wille. Nays None. The president declared the motion carried. Moved by Trustee Wille, seconded by Trustee Carlson that Geo. Whittenberg Salary shall be $140.00 per month beginning May 1, 1933 The Roll call was called with the following results. Ayes, Bndlong, Carlson, Gaul, Gould, Niebuhr and Wille, Nays, none. The President declared the motion carried. Trustee Gaul moved that Mr. Roderick be hired to audit Village Books General $126.00, Spec. Assessments $150.00# Trustee Carlson seconded the motion andl`\the roll was called. Ayes, Budlong, Carlson Gaul, Gould, Niebuhr, and Wille, Nays none. The President declared the motion carried. Moved by Trustee Budiong, seconded by Trustee Wille the permit be granted V. F. W. to sell fireworks for July 4th, 1933 period. Roll Call, Ayes, Bndlong, Carlson and Wills. Nays, Gaul, Gould and Niebuhr. Mr. President voting aye. The President then declared the motion carried. Trustee Gaul moved that an ordinance creating the Board of (r Local Improvement be passed. Roll Call, Ayes Budlong, Carlson, Gaul, Gould, Niebuhr and Wille The President declared the motion carried by vote of acclamation. Trustee Gaul moved that AN ORDINANCE TO REGULATE AND LICENSE THE 1 P- 2- SALE OF MALT BEVERAGES be passed. Trustee Niebuhr seconded this_ X66 motion. The roll was called. Ayes, Budlong, Carlson Gould, Gaul Niebuhr and Wille. Nays, none. The President declared the motion carried. The President then presented the following for the consideration of the Village Board. June 6, 1933 To the Honorable Board of Trustees, of the Village of Mount Prospect, Ill. Gentlemen: By virtue of authority conferred upon me by ordinance I hereby appoint Robert Quinn, Mis. E. M. Luckner and Mrs. Chas N. Verret as members of Health Dept and respectfully ask your concurrence therein. Yours Truly, signed Herman F. The President declared the motion aarried. C The President then presented the following for the consideration of the Village Board. June 6, 1933. To the Honorable Board of Trustees, of the Village of Mount Prospect, Ill. Gentlemen: By virtue of authority conferred upon me by ordinance I hereby appoint John Bensic, Chief of the Fire Dept. and respectfully ask your concurrence therein. Tours truly, signed Herman F. Nays, None The President declared the motion carried. The President then presented the following for the consideration of the Village Board June 6, 1933. To the Honorable Board of Trustees, of the Village of Mount Prospect, Ill. Gentlemen: By virtue of Authority conferred upon me by ordinance I hereby appoint, Edwin L. Busse, water rates collector and respectfully ask your concurrence therein. Yours truly, signed Herman F. Yeyn Village President. Moved by Trustee Gaul seconded by Trustee Carlson that above appointment be concurred in. Boll Call, ayes, Budlong, Carlson, Gaul, Gould, Niebuhr and Wille Nays, None. The President declared the motion carried. Moved by Trustee Gaul, seconded by Trustee Carlson thatwe adjourn until June 20, 1933 for the purpose of passing appropriation ordinance and to take up such business that may come before said meeting. ` . .� ��
