the hour of 8'0 tclock P. M.
President ' sailed the meeting to order with Trustees
Barar•ft, Budlong, Gaul, Gould, Hiebuhr and Wille answering to roll
call.
Trustee Gaul moved that the minutes of the regular meeting held
April, 4th, 1933 . and these of the adjourned meeting held April, 1
1933 be approved as read. Trustee Ville seconded this motion and the
same carried by vote of acclamation.
The Clerk then'presented the following report of the Village

Trustee Gould moved that the report be accepted and placed on file.
Trustee Budleng seconded this motion and the same carried by vote of
acclamation.
The Village Clerk then presented a report from the Village Treasurer
covering the receipts and disbursements of Special Assessment Funds for the
month of April, 1933. Trustee Gaul moved that the report he accepted and
placed on file. Trustee Budleng seconded this motion and the same carried
by vote of acclamation.
The Finance Committee then presented the followinf hills and

Trustee Gould moved that the recommendations of the Finance Committee be
C accepted and that the President and Village Clerk be directed to issue
the prsperv.uehers in payment of the bills. Trustee Gaul seconded this
motion and the same carried by the following roll sell. "Ayes" Tutees
Barcrsft, Budlong, Gaul, Gould, Niebuhr and Wille. Nene voting "Naye" the
President declared the motion carried and directed that the proper vouchers
be drawn and the bills be paid.
A letter from the Taxpayers Committee was presented at this time
and en motion •f Trustee Gaul seconded by Trustee Budleng same was refered
to the Water Committee for there recommendations.
The fellowing report of the Beard of Health was presented at this
time: -
May, 1st, 1933
Village Board,
Mount Prospect, Illinois.
Gentlemen: -
The following is a report of the Health Department
for the year ending May, lot, 1933. There were forty cases of
contagious disease during the year. Eighteen cases of measles,
fourteen eases of chicken pox, and eight eases of scarlet fever.
Water Samples were taken semi - annually and sent to the State
Department of Public Health. Report from State Department
was that water is 0. K.

Trustee Budlsng moved that the report of the Beard of Helath be placed •
file. Trustee Gould seconded this motion and the same carried by vote of
acclamation.
Trustee Gaul wowed that the Village insure Chief of Police
Mass in the amount of 42,500.00 and Officer ihittenberg in the
C amount of $1,500.00 providing that the beneficiary's of both men
sign the proper releases releaai Vi 1..e from an eliim under the
Workman's Campensation 'at and hat the lark •e instructed to
pay the insurance .premiums on these polia as and when die. Trustee
Ville seconded thia motion and the roll was called with the following
results: "Ayes" Trustees Barcrsft, Budiong, Gaul, Gould, Niebuhr and
Wille. Hone voting "l aye" the i declared the nation as carried
and directed the Village Clerk is act accordingly.
There being no further business to same before the Beane at this
time Trustee Gaul moved that same adjourn Sine Die. Trytstee Gould
seconded this motion and the same carried by vote of acclamation.

Minutes of The Regular Meeting of The Village Beard of
The Village of Mount Prospect, held in the
• Village „Board Rooms May, 2nd, 1933
at. t he Hour of I O'clock P. M.
President Meyn called the meeting to order with Trustees_
Budlong, Carlson, Gaul, Gould, Niebuhr and Wi11e answering to roll call.
President Meyn presented his Bomiuin the amount of 43,000.00: as
President of the Board and Trustee Gaul moved that same be accepted.
Trustee Budlong seconded this motion and the roll was called with the
following results: "Ayes” Trustees Budls Carlson, Saul, Gould,
Niebuhr and Wille. None voting "Naye" the President declared the motion
carried and the Bond as accepted.and approved.
President Meyn then presented the following committee for the
approval of the Board members:.

Gentlemen : -
By virtue of authority conferred upon me by
Ordinance I hereby appoint the following Committees for the ensuing

Trustee Gaul moved that the Committee appointments be confirmed. Trustee
Carlson seconded this motion and the same carried by the following
roll call. "Ayes"' Budlong, Carlson, Gaul, Gould, Niebuhr and Wine.
None voting "Naye" whereon the President declared the motion carried
and the committee appointments confirmed.

seconded this motion and the roll ,s called with the following result;

Ordinance I hereby appoint William Mule* Chief et Police,
Superintendent of Buildings, Superintendent of Water Works and
Superintendent of Street and respectfully request your concurrence
therein.

Trustee Stille moved that the appointment be confirmed. Truettee Gaul
seconded this motion and the same carried by vote of acclamation.
Trustee Carlson moved that the Village Board permit the V. F. W.
and to American Legion to sell Poppies en the streets of the Village
May, 5th, 1933. Trustee Mille seconded this motion and the same
carried by vote of acclamation.
Trustee Gaul moved that the Village furnish water to the Northwest
Hills Country Club providing that the Village had plenty at all times.

Trustee Gaul moved that the Ordinance be passed as read, Trustee
Carlson seconded this motion and the roll was called with the fellow*
ing result; "Ayes" Trustees Budlong, Carlson]; Gaul, Gould, Niebuhr and
Wilie. None voting "Naye" the President declared theraotion carried Old

r The following Ordinance was presented for first reading: -
An Ordinance Repealing an Ordinance Entitled: *An
.r+� Ordinance providing for an Improvement sonaisting of the
30 construction and installation of a combined storm water and
sanitary sewer, including concrete manhilea, vitrified title pipe
house connection sewers, vitrified title pipe sewers and
concrete catchbasins complete in place, in portions of the
following streets: Lincoln Avenue, Can-Data Avenue and
Central Avenue, etc. "Passed by the Board of Trustees of
the Village of Mount rrospect, Illinsis, on the
7th day of liay, A. D. 1929, and Approved by the President
of said Board en the 7th day of May, A, D, 1929.
Trustee Budlong moved that the Ordinance be passed as read. Trustee
Niebuhr seconded this metioj and the roll was called with the fell:wig

Wille. None voting "Naye" the resident declared the motion as
carried and the Ordinance passed as read.
The following Ordinance was presented for first reading: -
An Ordinance Repealing an trdinance Entitled:
"An Ordinance providing for the improvement consisting of
the construction and installation of a connected system
of cast iron water supply pipes including gate valves,
valve braes, fire hydrants and all necessary fittings, in
portions of the following streets; to wit: Central Avenue,
Can -beta Avenue, etc.* Passed by the Board of Trustees of they
Village sf Mount krospect, Illinois, on the 7th day of
May, A. D. 1929, and Approved by the President of said
Board on the 7th day of May,. A. D. 1929.
Trustee Gould moved that the Ordinance be passed as read. Trustee
Mille seconded this motion and the roll was called with the following
result:- "Ayes" Trustees Budlong, Ca isan, Gaul, Gould, Niebuhr and
Wille. Nine voting "Nave" the President declared the motion as carried
and the rdinance passed as read..
Trustee Gould moved that the Village Clerk be instructed to
notify the School Board that the Village Officials did not wish is
renew the lease en the Community mall which was about to expire.
Trustee Carlson seconded this motion and the roll was called with thei
following result; , Ayes" Trusteea Budieng,.C Gaul, Gould,
Niebuhr and Ville. None voting "Kaye" the 'resident declared the
motion carried and directed the Village Clerk t•aact accordingly.
There being no further business to come before the Bard at
this time on motion of Trustee Budlong seconded byn:Trustee Gould
