HomeMy WebLinkAbout03/07/1933 VB minutes Minutes of the Regular Meeting of The Village Board of The Village of Mount Prospect, held in the Village Board Rooms, March, 7th, 1933, at the Hour of eight o'clock P. Y. President Meyn called the meeting to order with Trustees Baronet, Q Budlong, Gaul, Gould, Niebuhr, and Wille answering to roll call. Trustee Budlon;; moved that the minutes of the regular meeting Deld February, 7th, 19334 and those of the adjourned meeting held February, 9th, 1933 be approved as read. Trustee Gaul seconded this motion and the same carried by vote of acclamation« The following report of the Village Treasurer was presented to the Village Board at this time: - GENERAL FUND Receipts Cook County Treaa. Busse Village Treasurer ...,_ - - A Trustee Gaul moved that the report of the Village Treasurer be accepted and placed on file. Trustee Niebuhr seconded this motion and the same carried by voteof acclamation. The Clerk then presented a report from the Village T reasurer on receipts and disbursements of Special Assessment Funds. Trustee Gaul moved that the report be accepted and placed on file. Trustee Wille seconded this motion and the same carried by vote of acelamatiin. , A request from the Public Service Company to make a 2' x 4' concrete pavement opening 150' N.X. Busse Street & 22' B. W. Elm Street to repair a as main was presented the the Board at this time. Trustee Budlong moved that the request be granted. Trustee Barcroft seconded this motion a and the same carried by vote of acclamation. The Finance Committeethen presented the following bills and recommelied payment of the same: - Jack's Sinclair Service $27.64K U. S. Post Office Dept. 28.86k, Pittsburgh Equitable Meter Co. .84r,, R. F. Huecker 41.94, Henry Schaeffer 13.75 Milburn Brothers 74.00r. W. S. Darley & Co. 2.9Bh.. W. C. Mulso (Salary) 163.001- George Whittenberg (Salaryi 125.00 , Henderson Sales & Service 5.14"'--- - Trustee barareft moved that the recommendations of the Finance Committee C be accepted and that the President and Village Clerk be authorized to issue the proper warrants in payment of the bills. Trustee &ould seconded this motion and the same carried biL the following roll call; "Ayes" Trustees Barcroft, Budlong, Gaul, Gould); Niebuhr and Wille. None voting "Kaye" the President declared the motion carried and directed that the proper warrants be issued. At this time a short reeesss was declared foliowing which president Meyn called the Board to order again with Trustees Barcroft, Budlong, Gaul, Gould, Niebuhr and 'Mlle answering to roll call. Trustee Barcroft moved that the salary of William Mulso as Chief of Police be cut to 4150.00 er month beginning as of March, 15th, 1933. Trustee Gaul seconded this Avalon and the roll was called with the following result; "Ayes" Trustees Barcroft, Budlong, Gaul, Gould, Niebuhr, and Tine.
