of The Village of Mount Prospect, held in the
Village Board Rooms, Decezpber, 6th, 1932
at the hour of eight o clock P. M.
President Meyn called the meeting to order with t rustees,
Barcroft, Budiong, Gaul, Gould, Niebuhr and Wille answering to roll tall.
Trustee Gaul moved %hat the minutes of the regular meeting held
November, 2nd, 1932 be approved as read. Trustee Gould seconded this motion
and the same carried by vote of acclamation.
The following report of the Village Treasurer was presented to
the Board at this time:

Village Treasurer
Trustee Gould moved that the Treasurer's report be accepted and placed
on file. Trustee Wille seconded this motion and the same carried by vote
C of acclamation.
Trustee Gaul moved that the Treasurer's report on receipts amd
disbursements of Special Assessment Funds be accepted and placed on file.
Trustee Barcroft seconded this motion and the same carried by vote of
acclamation.
At this time the members of the Board entered into a discussion
relative to the matter of reducing the Vehicle License Fees to 43.00 per
year. Followin the discussion Trustee Barcroft moved that the present
Ordinance star�`and that the Vehicle License Fees be as before $5.00 per
year. Trustee Could seconded this motion and the roll was called with
the following result; *Ayes" Trustees Barcroft, Gaul, Gould, and Niebuhr,
"Nayes" Trustees Budiong and Ville. Thereon the President declared the
motion as carried and directed that the ,7ehicle License Fee continue
at 45.00 per year.
Trustee Gaul moved that the quarterly water bills carry a 20%
discount if paid within 15 days in place of the 10% discount as had
been granted. Following a general discussion Trustee Niebuhr seconded thisl
motion and the roll was called with the following results; "Ayes"
Trustees Barcroft, Budlong, Gaul, Gould, Niebnhr and Ville. None voting
"Naye" the President declared the motion carried and directed the Clerk
to correct the billing of the water rentals accordingly.
Trustee Gaul moved that the following Ordinance be passed as

' / "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE WITHDRAWAL OF PROPERTY
1 AT THE SALT OF DELINQUENT SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS LEVY BY
THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT ARE NO BIDDER FOR SUCH PROPERT
APPEARS AT SUCH SALE.*
Trustee Budiong seconded this motion and the roll was called with the
following result; "'yes" Trustees Barcroft, Budloag, Gaul, Niebuhr and
Ville, None voting *Kaye" the President declared the motio* carried and
C the Ordinance passed as read.
Trustee Gaul presented the following resolution: -
RESOLVED that the Village Board of the Village of Mount,
Prospect, Illinois; does hereby endorse the Resolution offered
By Commissioner Homer J. Byrd to The Governor of the State of
Illinois asking that action be taken to reduce the Public
Utility Tates particularly with regard to rates on Electricity,
Gas and elephone.service.
• Trustee Gaul moved the adoption of the above resolution. Trustee
Barcroft seconded this motion and the roll was sailed with the following
results; ".Ayes" Trustees Barcroft, Budlong, Gaul, Gould, Niebuhr and
Wille. None voting "Kaye" the President declared the motion carried and
the resolution .adopted.
The Finance Committee then presented the following bills and
recommended payment of same : -

Trustee Gould moved that the report of the Finance Committee be accepted
and that the President and Village Clerk be authorized to issue the proper
vouchers in paymen* of the bills. Trustee Barcroft seconded this motion add
the roll was called with the following results; ;Ayes" Trustees Barcroft,
Budiong, Gaul, Gould, Niebuhr and Ville. None voting "Kaye" the President
declared the motion carried and directed that the proper vouchers be issued.
The Public Service Company presented the following application
for a permit: —
To install gas service to residence of H. B. Heintz,
N. S. William Street S. Central Road. No Pavement to be broken.

Trustee Barcroft moved that the Public Service request be granted.
Trustee Gould seconded this motion and the same carried by vote of acclamat-
ion.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this
time on motion of Trustee Gaul, seconded by Trustee Niebuhr same adjourned.
