Minutes of the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, held on the 3rd day of May,
1932.
The President called the meeting to order. .
The Clerk called the roll, all responding present.
Minutes were approved as read.

Minutes of the Rekular Meeting of the Village Board
of the Village of Mount Prospect, held May,
3rd, 1932 at 8 :00 o'clock P.
The President called the meeting to order with Trustees
Barcroft, Budlong, Gaul, Gould, Niebuhr and Wille answering to
roll call.
The Village Clerk presented the following communication
which was read and ordered placed on file:.

of Mount k'rospect, Cook County, Illinois, and keeper of
the records and files thereof, do hereby certify that at
an election held in the Village of Liount krospect, Cook
County, Illinois. on Tuesday, April, 19th, 1932, the
following named persons were duly elected to the office set
opposite their respective names and each of them has filed in

Trustee Budlong moved that the Committee appointments be
confirmed. Trustee Gaul seconded this motion and the roll was called
with he following results; "Ayes" Trustees Barcroft, Budlong, Gaul,
Gould, Niebuhr, and Wille. None voting "Naye" the 'resident declared
the motion carried and the Committee appointments as confirmed.
The Village Clerk then presented the following communication

Trustee Gaul moved that the appointment be confirmed. Trustee
Budiong seconded this motion and the ro11ywas called with the follow-
ing results. "Ayes" Trustees Barcroft, Budlong, Gaul, Gould, Niebuhr
and Wi11e. None voting "Naye" the resident declared the motion as
carried and the appointment confirmed.

Trustee Barcroft moved that the appointment be confirmed. Trustee
Niebuhr seconded this motion and the roll was called with the following
result. "Ayes" Trustees Barcroft, Budlong, Gaul, Gould, Niebuhr and
Wille. None voting #Naye" the President declared the motion as carried
and the appointment as confirmed.
The Village Clerk then presented the following communication

Trustee Barcroft moved that the appointment be conferred. Trustee
Wille seconded this motion and the roll was called with the following
results; "Ayes" Trustees Barcroft, Budlong., Gaul, Gould, Niebuhr and
® 'Mille. None voting "Nave" the resident declared the motion carried
and the appointment as confirmed.
The Village Clerk presented a request from the Public Service
Company for several permits for service leads. Following a short
discussion Trustee Budlong moved that the request for new service
leads be granted. Trustee Gould seconded this motion and the roll
was called with the following results; "yes" Trustees Barcroft,
Budlong, Gaul, Gould. Niebuh ant W; i z o _ ___ .
President declared the motion carried and the permits granted.
The Village Clerk presented and read. the Bond of the Village
Clerk in the amount of $10,000.00 and the Bond of the Water Rate
Collector in the amount of 410,000.00. Trustee Barcroft moved that
the Bond of the Village Clerk and the bond of the Water Late
Collector be accepted and ordered placed on file. Trustee Gaul
seconded this motion and the roll was called with the following
M sult; Ayes" Reustees Barcroft, Budlong, Gaul, Gould, Niebuhr and
lle. None voting "Naye" the President declared the motion as
carried and directed the Bonds be placed on file.

Ttzisteen Gould moved that the Village haul six loads of to the
Baseball Diamond at the Village Play Ground. T °usteer Niebuhr
seconded this motion and the roll was called with the following
results, "Ayes" Trustees Barcroft, Budlong, Gatti, Gould, Niebuhr
and Wille. None voting "Naye" the President declared the motion
carried.
Trustee Gaul moved that Public Grounds Committee arrange
a playing schedule for evenings and Sundays for the Baseball Clubs,
using the Play Grounds Diamond. Trustee Niebuhr seconded this motion
and the same carried by vote of acclamation.
First reading of:—
i AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING MEMBERS OF /V °
THE BOARD OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENTS OF THE VILLAGE
OF MOUNT PROSPECT.
Trustee Gaul moved that the Ordinance be passed as read. Trustee
Budlong seconded this motion and the roll was called with the f ollow%
results. "Ayes" Trustees Barcroft, Budlong, Gaul, Gould, Niebuhr,
and Wille. None voting "Naye" the President declared the motion carried
and the ordinance passed as read.
Trustee Gould moved that the matter of repairing the drainage
system which was damaged during the construction of the north side
sewer, be refered to the Judiciary Committee for action. Trustee
Wille seconded this motic;n and the same carried by vote of acclamation.
Trustee Gaul moved that the matter of landscaping the C. &. N. W.
grounds near Main Street and Elunerson Street, be refered to the
Public Grounds Committee for action. Trustee Budlong seconded this
motion and the same carried by vote of acclamation.
Trustee Gaul moved that the Board adjourn until Monday evening
May, 8th, 1932 at which time a meeting should be held to condider
the applications for Motorcycle Policeman. Trustee Wille seconded
this motion and the same carried by vote of acclamation.
