Minutes of the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, Held August 4, 1931.
The President called the meeting to order.
The Clerk called the roll, all responding present except
Trustee Gerken.
The Minutes were read and approved as read.
Special Assessment report was ordered placed on file.

Moved by Mr. Flesch, seconded by Mr. Barcroft, that we
paint Stop and Go Lights yellow. Roll Call - ayes 5 - Nays None.
Moved by Mr. Gaul, seconded by Mr. Dresser, that ordinance :14/
providing for the licensing of itinerant merchants, hawkers and
doing business in the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois,
be passed. Roll Call - ayes 5 - Nays None:
Moved by Mr. Budlong, seconded by Mr. Flesch that Dog
Ordinance be returned to the Judiciary Committee for further
discussion. Carried.

Moved by Mr. Budlong, seconded by Mr. Barcroft, that
E. F. Laurin Co. be authorized to audit collector's books. Roll
Call - Ayes 5 - Nays None.
Moved by Mr. Gaul, seconded by Mr. Flesch that Village
pay increase in rates on Liability and Property Damage on Pontiac
Car. Roll Call - ayes 5 - Nays None.
Moved by Mr. Gaul that Clerk issue permit to the Public
Service Company to put in a pole line along railroad to serve
Herman and Louis Oblerking with electric lights. Carried.
Moved by Mr. Dresser, seconded by Mr. Budlong that
President and Clerk sign dedication plat widening Rand Road.
Roll Call - Ayes 5 - Nays none.
Moved by Mr. Gaul that we get affidavits from Treasurer
that had orders to pay $157.'0' interest on loan as found in the
auditor's report. Roll Call - aye "s 5 -`Nays none.

ayes 4 - Nays none. Carried.
Moved by Mr. Gaul, seconded by Mr. Barcroft, that the
following Public Service permits be issued:
4 x 4 opening on Yaille and Lincoln Streets to repair
gas leak;
4 x 4 opening on Busse and Main Streets to repair gas
leak;
Trim trees on Owan St. north of Busse Avenue.
Motion Carried.
Moved by Mr. Gaul, seconded by Mr. Dudlong that Clerk
write H. Roy Berry Company to remove outhouse behind their Real
Estate Office. Roll Call - Ayes 4 Nays None.
Moved by Mr. Dresser,...seconded by Mr. Gaul to accept
offer of Mount Prospect State Dank of 1% on balance until such
rims as business conditions warrant a higher rate. Roll Call

hesolution to issue $6000.00 knticipation warrants be i -sued
