The President called the meeting to order,,
The Clerk called the roll, all trustees responding present,
Minutes of the meeting of October 4th were read and same were
on motion duly made approved.

It was duly moved and seconded that Chairman of Street and
Sidewalk and Finance Committee be authorized to purchase a
snow -plow.
ROLL CALL
Ayes, Beigel, Haas, Heide, Mecklenburg, Noll and Pohlman.
Nays, none.
Motion carried, ayes, six, nays none.
Thereupon itnwas moved by Trustee Heide, seconded by Trustee
Mecklenburg that water bill issued to Joe Morici be redtced
from 9.91 to 5.00. Motion carried.
It was duly moved by Trustee Haas, seconded by Trustee Heide
that V. F. W. permit be granted to have a trap -shoot on
N. E. corner Maple & Thayer Ave., Carried.
It was duly moved, seconded and carried that Chairman of Street
and Sidewalk committee Avant permit to � Re M: A � , es.,&Son to nut
in Sewer Pipes in Lot A, B, 0 and D.
Thereupon it was duly moved by Trustee Beigel, seconded by Trustee
Haas, that Chief of Police be directed to notify owner to move
shacks on Northwest Highway. Motion carried.
Thereupon the clerk read the following bills, said bille having
been approved by the proper committees:

It was duly moved by Trustee Haas, Seconded by Trustee Heide
that said bills be paid and clerk be directed to issue warrants

that said permits be granted. Motion carried.
The clerk thereupon bead the following communication:

The Village Board,
Mount Prospect, I11. •
Gentlemen:-
' At a meeting of the Mount Prospect Improvement
Association, held on October 10, 1927, it was ordered that
the following resolution be submitted to you.
"upon motion duly made seconded and carried, it was resolved
that the Mount Prospect Improvement Association, recommend to
the Village Board, towards raking steps to obtain enough front-
age from the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad, for a wider drive-
way on the Northwest Highway from Pine to Elm Streets.

It was moved by Trustee Pohlman seconded by Trustee Has that
said communication be referred to the Engineer for consideration.
Motion carried.
The clerk thereupon read the following communication:
Oct 14, 1927.
The Village Board,
Mount Prospect, I11.
Gentlemen:
At a meeting of the Mount Prospect Improvement
Association held on October 10, 1927, it was duly moved,
seconded and carried, that the Secretary inform the Village
Board of R Public rnkisance.
It was brought before the meeting that a dog
belonging to F. C. Miller, has attacked a child of one of the
members of the Association and other persons also repeatedly
doing damage to lawns and gardens in the immediate vicinity
of Mr. Miller's residence. The Association respectfully re-
commends to the Village Board that some action be taken to do
away with this public nuisance.
